Got superb exhaust sound!! No doubt with a full load the loco will sound even louder! Brilliant!

it does sound good, but at the time the blast pipe was to small!, so alot of noise but not running too smoothly. back pressure etc.

andyg3 Yes, got to get it just at the sweet spot for maximum exhaust but that it still runs smoothly. Do you know what the diam. of the blast pipe/blast orifice was compared to what it is supposed to be?

Bryn Morgan the drawings say 1/4", which is what it was in this video. its been opened to 5/16 and will be tested tomorrow

Bryn Morgan another test run proved much more successful. openeing the hole made it run a lot better
