Where did you get the whistle? We are looking for one like this to fit to our 3" fowler. Our current one is a bell whistle, horribly high pitched- and broken. (You blow the whistle once, let go, and it doesn't stop)

I'm 69.......I remember electric guitar makers in the 1980s saying a sonic issue is : the heavier the better - the weight corresponded uniformly to the sustain, the heavier the guitar, the longer the note lasts, bass or lead. Weight = sustain. I read that ESP initially were making the heaviest ever guitars, & the guy who gave them a boost, Rammstein's Richard Kruspe, had been a professional wrestler, a very muscely guy, 5' 11 + a half inches. Rammstein are definitely not into noodley guitar solos, & I think the closest to a guitar solo by them is Stein Um Stein, live @ Les Arenes des Nimes......where Richard imitates a scream, as the song is about sadism & torture, very strange solo. But I think RDs are the best ever guitars, bass + lead. Great review!!!!!

I heard that Daltrey's stutter in this song wasn't planned. He was struggling with singing the song during rehearsal and that was the inspiration for the stutter. I don't know whether that's true; nevertheless, it's a great story.

I was looking at one of these on Andy Baxter bass but this has made me rethink. Way too much money for problems with electronics and parts that no longer exist. Hmmm I think I might go with a thunderbird instead now. I hope you get yours sorted. Must be frustrating.
@andyg3 Жыл бұрын
i would say youre wrong, much better than a thunderbird, the only problem ive had is this, and it went away on its own anyway. i certainly dont regret buying mine, absolute beast. mine also came from andy

I own a thunderbird and it’s nothing like the rd artist. It’s not terrible, just a little muddy and difficult to put in a mix. Just get a ripper that still has frets if you want this tone without the headache/back pain

@@andyg3 Helloo, sorry for the question, but, what is an AUX chord? Can a Dunable R2 DE bass guitar get that Krist Novoselic tone ?
@andyg3 Жыл бұрын
ive never played a dunable r2 de, but i doubt it, part of what gives the rd its sound is the pickups and active electrics, they were designed and made especially for the RD artist. iv not come across anything that sounds the same, except for the ripper, which has very similar pickups, which you can also buy new from seymour duncan. the Gibson Krist Novoselic RD artist that was released about 10 years ago does actually sound very close to the RD artist, but had passive seymour duncan hot stack jazz pickups fitted. again those are available to buy.

Where can I get the tabs for this version? I know its pretty much the same but there's a few changes like when you do the first part where you slide down but in the album one you can hear him go on to the 7th on the E and this version sounds a bit groovier. I probably worded that all wrong but I mean no criticism and I love this. Edit: I'm now thinking that it's just being played faster.
