I was really wanting this to be a good truck because of the body actually fits the truck nice. But from what I’ve seen I’d be better off going kraton XL or Sledge XL

Yeah man this truck was a big disappointment. It’s definitely a good-looking truck. It just don’t perform. The Kraton XL is a lot cheaper to build than the sledge XL but if money is not an option then I would definitely build the sledge XL much more durable

I honestly don’t know. if that’s the long bed it’s possible. It might not fit like the big rock body fits but we run the long bed C 10 Chevy body from proline on our Kraton XL‘s with no problem just a different mounting system

Use the older savage xl bodies, the 1979 f150 supercab or the gtxl-1 vintage body. The same problem with the fireteam to heavy of a body. I changed it to the Hpi body used basherqueen carbon fiber everywhere I could including the tower to tower brace and get that scorched rc carbon fiber chassis then she will be slim and trim ready to rock

Yeah man there was times where I just didn’t care. There was parts of the video that I cut out when the car was upside down. I just held it full pin for five minutes or longer until the Lipo drained out. I can say those electronics are solid.

I pretty much agree. The big rock is a no go for extreme bashing. It’s a great show peace and maybe just ripping around in Field but that new K6 I’m really digging that car. The Kegama is pretty awesome as well. I just wish It had a little more weight to her to make her fly better, but she does what she’s meant to do. She’s a screamer.

I converted it over to a trail truck because I wasn’t happy on the bashing side of it. It was just too heavy. Thank you Mr. Rich appreciate your time brother. I definitely had my frustrations with this truck. But in the end it wasn’t all that bad once I realized it wasn’t going to be what I was hoping for. It’s definitely one of the best looking trucks I’ve built and looks very good on my self 😆 I don’t mind the broken arms or the broken suspension pins ballcups It’s all part of it but when I start blowing differentials every session that gets old, maybe some upgraded gears down the road but still one bad landing and somethings going to break I never did weigh this truck, but just from the feel of it picking it up she’s definitely One of my heaviest XL‘s in the fleet. I put the new K6 shocks on my Fireteam. Worked a lot better. I put RCAWD lsd's front to back. With a Hobbywing 8S system. 22 tooth pinion and stock spur. I have sent that thing to the moon. No breaks. Also put the 6S backflips on it. It's a fully built rig too. So it's a heavy bitch. But I think the shocks help.

Iv heard of a lot of people having issues with the shim kit so what I did was I got the round plate that is for the lsd and two of those and the a shim and shim it to 1.90. It’s on the arrma form. it took trial and error And I chewed up some spider gears and it’s been working tho I have not taken it apart to see how the gears are doing.

Right on man some people have good luck with them. I just don’t. I have better luck with the LSD plates and I can usually tune my diffs for my style of driving and not have an issue. It’s just this truck is so heavy they’re just not holding up for me anyway

Hey aldo thought I’d let you know that corally have a 7075 t6 they call it “Chassis Brace - Center Upper - Asuga XLR” I think this is the one you bent on the Asuga as the stock one is 6061.

Definitely a beautiful truck bro you make them look awesome, I had a question about the jackhammer, running the castle 1721/1260 because of the 8mm shaft it will only allow the pinion on so far where basically I can't get the grub screw on the whole shaft. It's only like a little more then half the grub screw making contact with the shaft. It works but I don't want to destroy anything. I appreciate any advice. Thanks in advance

Thanks bro on the jackhammer put the pinion on backwards. If you still can’t get it on then you need to go to a smaller pinion. I think I was only running a 23 and it was perfect.

@@AldoLoyal thanks bro, that's exactly what I started with but the thing is when I turned around backwards the shank of the pinion won't slide into the motor mount...did I get the wrong mount. I bought the reverse motor mount 1466 with the 1459 slide I have a couple 23 tooth pinion idk I don't mean to bother you I know you know your stuff. I can send a pic if you want to see. Hi Aldo I’m ordering a ton spare parts and M2C upgrades for my new Kraton 6s EXB(my first RC). A friend will be bringing the parts for me from US cause we don’t have hobby stores in India and huge duties on parts if I ship them directly. I have 3 questions, 1. Does the RPM81802 wing mount? If yes, should I order the EXB mount or the RPM as a spare? 2. What’s the difference between the M2C3130 off-road rear hinge pin kit and the M2C3615 kit? Which one should I get? 3. Should I get the hot racing steering knuckles or scorched parts knuckles? Scorched knuckles look like they are on the heavier side, might end up adding more unsprung mass, please advice. Open to suggestions on the brands as well. List of parts and spares I’ve ordered - 1. M2C upper hinge pin kit with retainers 2. M2C front hinge pin retainers 3. M2C droop screws 4. What’s up man I believe you need to get the 3615 and 3616 ones a front ones a rear. I think that other one you were talking about is for an older model and this new EXB don’t need a whole Lotta upgrades but what you got is a good start and I would just replace as one breaks. On the hubs, I like vitavon or CRCU has a good set of hubs Also. I really don’t like the HR hubs they end up, fading out and losing their color and look horrible
