First scare with the Sequoia, but things aren’t always what they seem

The oil change place I go to had a trainee servicing my vehicle, and she used an open topped pitcher to refill the oil. I suppose the theory is that you can put all 5 or 6 quarts in the single bucket and save time. That wasn't the case here when she caught the bottom of the pitcher on something and pretty much dumped the whole thing in the engine bay. They spent the next 30 minutes cleaning the mess. I felt bad for the girl. I didn't care much about the spilt oil...just free rust-proofing! Stolen cats are sadly still a thing. I had the cats stolen off of my truck two years ago. The apes ripped them out so badly, they cracked the exhaust manifold, so I had to get that replaced as well.

I own a 2008 Platinum Sequoia great vehicle. 255,xxx at the moment, I change all the fluids regularly and can say these are super dependable/predictable rides. The Sequoia still looks and performs great. I also just bought an '01 DHG Bullitt #3776😁

What was the price difference in the 2 sequoias? I got a 13 i went with a mint 13 higher miles over a certified pre owned way lower miles but ot seemed like it wasn't taken care of as good. Plus Side i saved about 15k lol

It was a huge difference, like $25,000 for 11,000 miles vs 75,000 miles but I also wanted everything on it to be new from the radiator, ball joints, transmission, etc. To be honest, the higher miles one would have probably been just fine. I just wanted a break for the family vehicle to not have problems for a long time
