I built and piloted the blue steel list you covered in this video. Let me quickly tell you a little anecdote. I actually live in germany and am on vacation in Florida. So all I had to work with was the deck I took with me (Jan Moy‘s Blue Steel list from DLC Seattle) and whatever we opened in a single Booster Display. If I had other cards to work with the list would have looked differently. Pleakly was very underwhelming in this list. I basically inked him every time. The Jom Hawkins were great. Would have played the full playset of both if I had them. Singing 5 Coat songs on turn three with Jim is also nuts. That being said I probably would habe played more songs like let it go and Along came Zeus if I had access, maybe even A whole new world. Wreck-It Ralph was amazing. RA matchup takes a full turn once he is played. There was video coverage of the tournament in twitch, I got featured twice. I can put a link here as soon as the VOD is available if you like.

I wouldn´t be surprised to see purple steel also win the European championship, but foremost I would highly enjoy seeing a variety of competing decks, rather then 2 or 3 decks and only slight variations on those.

I feel like Amethyst/Steel has a good chance to come out on top by involving Jafar to get that quick card draw lore gain, and Pete preventing him from being bounced by cards without evasive.

Sapphire/Steel is my pick - I think Ruby/Sapphire is still extremely strong but it seems that aggro, which has historically been a rough matchup for it, has gotten a lot of good cards this set, and of the two sapphire decks I think Sapphire/Steel has a better matchup into the aggro decks and will appreciate having a smaller Ruby/Sapphire presence in the meta.

I think amethyst/emerald is going to win the EU championships... and i guess chicha into pleakly works to draw a card with her if she is put into the inkwell as secons ink. She is still in the "bag" when the effect triggers. Same like diablo getting banished by let the storm rage on, or same like lyle tiberius gets bannished with be prep when other charakters gets bannished to ;)

I think that the meta is opened for many color combinations, but so far I like Steel ramp and EA tempo the most. Steel ramp is the only ramp that can catchup with fast meta decks and crush you in late game. But my choise for EU Championship would be EA tempo. It is extremely fast deck that also draws a lot of cards and can compete in longer games as well 🟢🟣
