I think the new Basil Disguised detective is also a great shifter with good stats and lore but a neat effect of forcing a card discard whenever you ink a card. and its effect doesn't put Basil at risk either. combine this with cards like fishbone quill and you've got another reliable means of removing from your opponents hand

I’m just not sold on Lilo. Paying 2 ink every turn before you draw to play a 1/2/2 is fine but I don’t think it’s that’s great. Against steel decks they love the cheap target to smack with Calhoun, Robin Hood, or Giant Tink

Here’s another way to look at her: Imagine Chromicon and how good it is in aggro decks - you’re paying 1-2 ink to find and play an additional 1-2 cost 2 lore character each turn. It’s like drawing a bonus card - and a decent one. Yes, she enters exerted, but that’s a fair price to pay.

Against Steel, you can just choose not to play her if Tink is out. I don’t think Calhoun is going to be played much.

​@@ssteadfastI respectfully disagree about Calhoun not being played much. I think she's going to be great in a lot of steel decks. Yes she's not as good in aggro but at the same time she is. Better in steel control decks. I'm liking her for amethyst steel. I love amethyst steel and usually go back to it every set to see if it's viable and it is if played correctly. She and Mr smee are my top two picks for the 2 cost slot for most steel cards and she pairs really well with having Robin hood in the deck as well. (I still need Robin hoods but that's besides the point lol.) the fact is being able to challenge something and control your opponents boardstate all while still gaining 2 lore off of it is amazing. It's why Robin hood is so good, that and the draw when banished

Lilo does still cost you each turn, that's the only downside to her. She isn't free to play. You still have to pay the 2 ink every time (your video seems to suggest she is free, like Perdita, which isn't the case).

​@balloonzLorcana Calhoun should be in Top 10. Her stat line and the fact that she trades favorably into any other 1-3 drop is great. Hard stop to aggro since she gains lore per banish and doesn't die to swords, Cannons, storm, or baboom.
