First Shots With the New Marlin 1895 Trapper

Fist time getting the new Rugger made Marlin 1895 Trapper out. Shooting 45-70 suppressed is an absolute blast!

Just got mine a couple months ago. I have it set up almost the same but with a Leupold 1.5-4x scout scope. Probably the funnest gun I have to shoot. Definitely a fan favorite at the range.

Just a question is your lever a lil stiff not like bad but just lil more than you would expect not with the action but just opening it from the very start like the detent on the lever where is meets transfer bar mine feels a lil stiff not as easy as my Henry's or other lever actions so just wondering if it's jus me or is urs a lol stuff to ??
