Can you guys believe I filmed this and last skated in May? This is my first (and only so far) skate in my new John Wilson Coronation Ace blades - Finally forced myself to finish editing this one for you, even if it is 3 months late! Thank you for your support and kind comments, they really have kept me positive over the past few months xx

I got the CA blades last year and they really helped me with my spins! I could never find that good spot on my previous blades. Spinning is actually fun now hahaha but I do agree it’s easier to travel with those blades

I switched from the same aspire blades to CA! They felt really slippery for me but it may have been the hollow. Love my CAs! Hope you get to skate soon

Good to see you still skating :) subscribed to you at the start of your channel when I was skating too. I’ve since given up the sport but I love watching you progress

I have the aces for over a 1 month now, and i feel like the biggest struggle with me on the ace is how its easy to travel during spins because of how prominent the spin rocker is. You shift your weight just a little forward and you're already travelling. lol

YES! This is something I took ages to adjust to.

Thank you! It's been tough to adjust to but good overall. Being away from the ice so long was so sad the past two years, I'm hoping you're back out there now? x

Hope you are well and safe. I can’t wait to see more updates!! My daughter and I took a two year break due to covid and a few other things but we went back Monday, had to go back to basic 4 but that’s ok. We will get there 😁

From 8ft to 7ft rocker. Nice!! You’ll notice it gets better centering spin. But super hard to adjust (well for me) 😅

Hope lockdown ends soon for you! I missed skating so much during ours (over a year in the UK 😭). I love my coro ace blades, my spins improved so much when I switched to them! My skates are breaking down and I'm thinking of upgrading to a gold seal now I'm landing 1a and 2s but I'm too scared of losing them if I switch to a new boot and blade 😅 please do another update on your blades when your back on the ice, I'll be really interested to see how long it takes you to get fully used to them!

We're finally back on the ice! Hoping you're back soon :( Good to hear that the blades helped you so much! I'm still getting used to them for spins. I'll be posting soon from my first couple of skates this year :) Great work on the 1A and 2S though, I'm sure no matter what they'll stick with you with practice. x

Nice progress ✊✊. One question: Have you gotten the dizziness over?
@ImoneOnIce
@ImoneOnIce 2 жыл бұрын
Thank you! Mostly I'm fine after spins but if I do a new position or an extra number of rotations it takes a while for the dizziness to stop.

i believe that you can do all that stuff on the video using default edea blades.

Yay it’s been a while since you last uploaded! I’m a beginner adult skater from Sydney! Unfortunately we’re in lockdown too and I’ve missed out on 3 months of skating :( Do you think you’ll be entering adult competitions in the future? Also another question, do you ever practice spirals? I’m not flexible but I sometimes wonder if there’s a point in practicing them haha! Your videos inspire me so much!!!

Thank you for your lovely comment! :) Are you guys back in Sydney now? I definitely want to compete! I wanted to start 2 years ago but the lockdowns stuffed that over haha. I do practice spirals (but very little), they've been very helpful for my camel spin position! xx
