I had so much fun at the competition, and I wasn't the only one!! The event went really well, so they're planning to organise more of them, well 1 per month, every 2nd Sunday of the month, to be exact, so if you're around, you can join us! 😉

Just stumbled across your channel, my thoughts.... I really enjoy listening to your enthusiasm on the subject of puzzling, you have such a big and true smile while you are explaining things that it is easy so see that you love doing puzzles. I didn't know that puzzle competitions was a thing, guess I should have as there are competitions for everything, I need to look around here where I live (Colorado, USA) and see what I can find. Thank you! 🤗 I really do love puzzling! 🙈 Everything can be made into a competition, but don't worry, you're not the only one who doesn't know - I only found out 2 years ago, when I started my puzzle channel 😅 And there are PLENTY of competitions in the US - you're probably a leading country in that, but I don't know specifically for Colorado. There are FB groups, that you can join, and also try the USAJPA (www.usajigsaw.org/) - they would probably know about all competitions happening around the US 😉 Well thank you! 😊 Unfortunately, it wasn't that helpful in Spain last year haha! 😂

Congratulations Janette!! Suggestion about the 2 puzzles - Do a give away - give one puzzle away - keep the one that you have already done and that is in big pieces. But give the other one away - restrict it to Europe only, if you cant afford to pay for world wide shipping...

What a fitting first puzzle choice! Bled is absolutely stunning! I have been fortunate to visit that little island on Lake Bled, I had no idea it was the only island in Slovenia through! Slovenia was one of my favourite countries when I visited Europe. So pretty and people are so lovely! Wishing you a Merry Christmas from Australia! 😊

Completing two puzzles mixed together can be a fun challenge if the puzzles are not too big and if the puzzles are distinguishable (for the most part). My worry is that with two identical 500 piece glossy puzzles that the experience will be more of a frustrating one and discouraging in the long run.

That's a really good point! And actually when I accidentally took one of my sisters piece, the cut was just a little bit off, which could make it even more difficult 😬 But I posted the poll now, so I'll have to do, what people choose haha 😅🙈

First of all, congratulations on having your first (of many) successful speed puzzling events in Slovenia. Ahhh, Spirit Island, Maligne Lake, Jasper National Park. I do love this area and have gone several times to take photographs. It is not super close to my house because the park is huge and so is Canada, but it is the closest park to us and we go camping or sightseeing several times a year. It is a wonderful day trip. I hope this puzzle is a wonderful experience for you.

O super!! Pol ti pa kr svetujem, da se včlaniš v skupino na FB - izmenjava sestavljank 😉 Tam se sproti objavlja vse dogodke v povezavi s puzli, kot so tekmovanja in menjave. Če pa nimaš FB, potem bom pa tudi tukaj objavla, ampak samo tekmovanja, ki pa se načeloma dogajajo enkrat mesečno, drugo nedeljo v mesecu! 😁

I really enjoyed watching this little video of the competition before and after. Yay! You won! That is nice that they did not count the time you opened the box and the puzzle bag, it gives you time to settle your emotions a bit before starting. Yes, petting a dog is so relaxing, I pet my dog a lot when I need to feel calmed or use a fidget. I did my little research on Lake Bled, they have a church there and weddings are made there, there are 99 steps leading to the church and the groom carries the bride, am I right? Please correct me if I am wrong. The puzzle image is beautiful yet tricky, but I am so happy you won at a great time too. I also love the puzzle with the image in Canada you won as a prize. It looks like the Lake Bled puzzle, A body of water and a small island in the middle, of course Lake Bled's island is bigger. Yeah, I like the idea of mixing the puzzle pieces from the 2 identical puzzles, it sounds like a fun challenge for a livestream😃

Thank you! 🤗 I thought that was good as well, especially because the boxes weren't wrapped, but taped instead, which is more difficult to open. Dogs are so relaxing! Well all pets can calm you down really, that's why I love them so much! 🤩 You know, I actually don't know that much about the island - I know there's a church on it, and that people get married there, but it's very expensive, so not many weddings are held there 😅 I know you're not allowed to be in your swimwear on it - learned that the hard way 😂🙈 And it is very pretty yes! A very nice path to walk all the way around the lake as well 😁👌🏻 I love the Canada puzzle too!! 😍 I hope mixing all the pieces up won't make it too difficult for me 😅🙈
