Love all your vids, faithful watcher. I was 7 yrs old in 1985 and inherited my nanas 76 elan w/the three penguins on the side. I could barely ride it lol. A faithful elan owner to this day👍

On fuel priming I have used an air hose and a rag to push the fuel up. Lucas oil colors their oil. I also use a diesel fuel can for my mix fuel. Carbon fiber is really abrasive and will chew up the bearings. Cool vid thanks.

makes me miss the good ole days we had a few sleds artic cat panther 440 and later a scorpion 440 whip that was back in the day when 440s were about as big as it got the scorpion was scary fast we think it was likely modded by the previous owner I would love to get back into riding but here in southern MO its rare to get very much snow to ride anymore so far this year we have not had much more than an ice storm that melted by noon

You should paint the carbon fiber hood a nice orange, it would be sweet contrast to the windshield and intake fan and it would look awesome in conjunction with the suspension/ skid

Canadian Curtus-Wright = CCW.. they asembled engines that were made in japan by the kioritz company. so ccw gott parts and put the engines together under the ccw name. (i think the reason for this was to avoid tax from importing from japan because they engines were put in american sleds like john deere) but any way they were put into john deere, ski roule and one or two past brands
