you cant change the crystalization/structure of ceramic it is what it is and it will never change, what you do is warming slowly to get moisture out of it that is what makes it crack, there can be internal stresses if the ceramic is not done/fired properly, with every use one should start slowly to get rid of moisture, the ceramis is porous and can soak up moisture since its not glazed.

@@DinnerWithDave you cant take away any stress inside the ceramics period you can only take away moisture inside porous ceramics that is what cracks it not the stress, what does water become when heated stream and if heated to fast it doesnt have a chance to escape and thus ceramics cracks. thats pressure pots have relieve valves otherwise it becomes a bomb

Nice man! Dus eerst twee uurtjes op 200 graden laten in-bakken. Ik dacht dat ik vandaag gelijk vlees kon bakken!

Only just come across this video. I'm looking at the Bastard Urban Compact Jnr in the UK, how has yours held up after this time?

In de handleiding staat de je de eerste drie keer de Bastard rustig tot maximaal 225 - 250 graden Celsius moet opstoken. Elke keer kun je gewoon gelijk bbqen. Daarna alle boutjes nalopen. De precision top hoeft Volgende de handleiding NIET met olie ingebrand te worden.

onzin je kunt de komado meteen gebruiken tot 220 graden!!!

dat kan, maar het is beter om voorzichtig te zijn. het punt is dat je niet meteen pizza's gaat bakken met 250 -300 graden

top, precies dat wat ik zocht. ga morgen beginnen met mijn compact. Dat temperen moet je ook doen met gietijzeren pannen waarmee je wilt gaan werken
