Finally an SAO game that looks and feels like one. Lost Song was okay but the flight controls were atrocious for me so i remained on the ground but i couldn't do that for long. I have hope for this game better hope it doesn't screw up cause this looks beautiful and my type of game to play (Im a sucker for hack and slash beat em ups)

To the people saying "it's kinda easy." Have you guys EVER played an MMORPG in a low level area? It's beyond booooring easy. By the time of your first death to monsters you're probably going to be level 20. Probably. This game gives you at least a feeling of companionship, if anything. Which modern MMOs don't. It's more of a -> quest-quest-idon'tknowyou-quest-partyfordungeon-quest-quest-guildfornoreason. And by god, if you ask someone to quest together, they're going to think you're a weird no-life pedophile. (exaggeration) Don't get me wrong this game is a relaxing walk after a day of work, by the looks of it. Which is just something for me, but people saying that a game that emulates an MMORPG is "easy" in lvl 7 area....I mean, come on! I know the level because there is this exact videos on YT with UI.

Well, this game looks cool. I hope a lot of new stuff appear in it like:•Dating Sim.- Like in Re: Hollow Fragment but with the ability to marry anyone. Toss Asuna away.• MMO- That I can see a lot of players at the same time. At least 8, 10 or 16 players in a boss raid.•Taming- The ability to tame monsters. Not only cute little Silica and Pina.•Tamed Beasts Battle or Support- That when your HP reaches a certain level it heals you amd that it helps you in battle. Obviously we will need the ability to revive them.•Breeding- I don't want to make it a Sword-Fighting Pokemon game, but breeding dragons wouldn't be bad.•Battle as a Tamed Beast- Monster Hunter Generations lets you use a Palicoe (⬅May be misspelled) why not battle as Pina or another monster. I've always wanted to be a dragon 😜.•Much more- I have way more ideas for this game but I'm too shy to upload a video.That's all, even if nothing I wrote here happens, it still looks really great. 👍👍👍👍👍

my only problem with these games is that the enemies seem to never attack you. they just sit there and take your wailing lol. I can at least tell that the players were stun locking the boss, but seriously, I don't think I saw an enemy attack first, once.

yeah oddly enough i the SAO games, the AI's aggro is all sorts of off. I'm currently playing Infinity Moment again and I decided to run circles around an NM, it didnt attack me until I ran away from it then it started to aggro. Soe of the smaller mobs do aggro but basic stuff like he/she was fighting (aside from the boss) typically have no aggro radius. As for the boss that poor thing kept getting stunlocked like you said with the switch tactic. Personally while its affective, it makes gameplay too boring for me, I like AI that fight back in games. Oh well, its had a few months, lets hope the AI have gotten some tweaks.

Yes except you can do that in practically any mmo... This is a console jrpg not an mmo. Traditional jrpgs imho are for storytelling, immersion, and, unique gameplay systems. The sao series is like a hybrid jrpg/mmo. They did have that in Hollow Fragment but it's there because sao is a vrmmorpg. I just don't think that would be the focus in today's console adaptations. Still, I understand what you all are wanting.. I've played many mmorpg, jrpgs, rpgs, over 20+ years and see where the market is heading. It wouldn't be strange to see a vrmmorpg of sao in the near future. More like, I would except it.

+TruXByakuya i want a SAO game that's the exact opposite of that. i want to be one of the people trapped in there. i want the things that happen in the anime still happen, but i'm my own person, meeting my own friends and crap. see the story from another angle. it'd be cool if as soon as you start your game, all the events that happen in the anime are timed regardless of whether you play the game or not. like a floor is cleared each day or whatever. make it a hundred-day game to finish. and you can race with other top players, aim to join the party that finished the game, or just try to survive anyway you can. totally possible, but i doubt anyone would risk their money making something as awesome as that.

i REALLY hope they do a good job on this. i wasn't fond of the HF version cause the controls were pretty bad. LS was good though albeit a bit clunky. saying that i know they were originally VITA games that were Japanese only at the time that ported west so the controls were more for them. there should be no excuses now though as it's being designed for the ps4 also
