SA has a good take on this. They’ll improve the OL and get a competent coach. They started building this team last year and it needed going into the 3rd year to make the jump. Once they stack the line they will look substantially better.

@@Collegeworld1086 it was Eberflus. But it was also Justin. I loved JF, but seeing this kid shows me what he didn’t have. I’d argue the lack of OL was just as egregious as Eberflus coming in. He clearly was way over his head, but there isn’t a coach that can coach above the OL. The next coach will have more success cause I believe they will throw every asset they can to improve that area cause most other position groups are signed through next year. Any competent coach and this team should win 9-10 walking in with this QB.

6:02 A lot of us feel that way Shannon. Firing Lovie after a 10-6 season was crazy. In Lovie's 9 seasons with the Bears we had 3 losing seasons. Since Lovie's firing the Bears have had 8 losing season, 3 .500 seasons and 1, yes one season over .500. In 12 years, one freaking season over .500
