The Bills were almost universally projected to be in a rebuild this season, the Ravens were almost universally projected to have the best team Lamar has ever had and were SuperBowl favourites. That's all that matters. Both will be and should be criticized, but they started the season with different expectations.

Josh Allen voted most overrated play in the NFL this year and comes into the season with the "worst" bills team in 6 years. Lamar has King Henry run the ball down the defense throat whenever Lamar needs help

And he shouldnt be. Nobody wants to admit he's better than lamar. And that guy has 2 mvps then plays like trash in the playoffs. Allen has beat mahomes more than anyone else. He's pushed him to the brink twice in the playoffs for his defense to blow the game. Allen made the afc chip four years before lamar did. Allen holds the best td/int ratio all time in the playoffs. He rises to the big games and lamar plays small in big games. Happens year after year. Lamar isnt even winning his division right now on a loaded roster. Allen has 1 receiver he is familiar with from last year and lost 6 captains. 2 receivers and 4 defensmen. No on expected Bills to win the division or even make the playoffs. He makes plays that lamar could only dream of. 60 more total tds than lamar and 6000 more yards in same amount of seasons played. Hes dping more with less and hes beat the two best teams in the league. The NFL has pushed lamar wayyy too hard. Hate to say it, but I fear it's because he is a young black athlete that came from a poor neighorhood and became an NFL starter. Looks better to the kids. I hope that isnt the case but the facts are obvious. Those putting lamar ahead as mvp are looking at productive stats only. Then josh blew him away last year and didnt get the mvp. No QB has carried a bigger load in their career to this point than allen. What he does physically is unmatched and the throws he makes cant be replicated even by mahomes in some cases. Bills have struggles to get a run game in 6 years up until this year. Its been all allen. Allen is playing better without big name Diggs. Cooper is 30 and has barely contributed thus far. Allen is doing far more with less.... Lamars MVP in 2019 is not even statistically ranked in the top 30 of MVPs in the super bowl era... Manning, Brady, Rodgers, Mahomes, and Allen have put up better seasons. Some of them more than once. And in those seasons not all were awarded MVP. Lamar is pushed too hard for as much as he flames out in the big games. Peyton Manning was incredible, but nobody labels him the GOAT over Brady because 5 MVPs and almost every passing record when he retired is not 7 rings.

The Ravens have had the 32nd secondary of the league for most of the season. The Ravens have 5 losses by a total of 22 points. Justin Tucker has missed 22 points worth of kicks. He has literally gone from the best to the worst kicker in the league. The Ravens lost 3 pro bowlers on defense to free agency. Plus a DC and half of their coaching staff. I can keep going. The Ravens started the season with 3 new lineman. Who all missed the preseason. Etc. But he’s the only QB who not allowed to have excuses.

Are people that blatantly stupid that they turn a blind eye to the fact that Lamar and Allen habe played as starters 7 seasons... Lamar has 30 fewer rush tds, and 30 fewer pass tds, with over 6000 more pass yards. Thats almost 2 seasons more production. And Allen's ints have never cost them winning the division 5 years straight or in the playoffs where he holds the best TD/ INT ratio all time in postseason. He has the best statistical postseason in history of any QB in 2021. He has beat mahomes more than anyone else and has pushed him hard twice in the playoffs. Lamar has never sniffed that. But your MVP has a .250 playoff record and put up 7 points against the chiefs in the AFC chip... Thats embarrassing!!! Allen had better productive stats last year with a lesser record on a team with no HOF offensive talent. Lamar had 15 less TDs but was on a better team with the best record... So now that lamar is slightly better in production with a loaded offense and 2 HOF players in Andrews and Henry but Buffalo has the better record, the tables are turned. Allen is doing more with less. He's far better and his career is far more productive. At most he deserves 1 MVP, not last years. And to flame out pathetically in his first playoff game in 2019, that guys valuable? Okay lmao.

Now thos yr he doesnt and its considered a big deal but when lamar cpuld t get it done it was just on him, not on the lack of supporting cast. When josh loses this yr thats going to be the excuse no matter what record he has in the regular season or if he wins the mvp. Nobody brings up the fact that the coaching of the ravens decides to try to be a different team every yr big playoff games. Lamar didnt play the best but a lot of that game last yr wasnt in him.
