Ham got fired because he didnt play his best 5 players until AFTER all star break. Ham got fired because he played too many 3 small guard rotations. Ham got fired because DLo went on podcasts saying Ham wasnt using him right. Ham got fired because he moved Austin and Dlo on the bench back n forth. Ham got fired because his team didnt have a defensive identity (basically from Ad's mouth). Ham got fired because AD N Bron dont believe in his coaching. Ham got fired because he had too much talent to be the 7th, 8th seed. He did OK, Lakers just wanna improve in that department. Though the roster needs a slight tweak as well.

Exactly what talent did they have to get them further than last year? Shooters who couldn't defend. Defenders who couldn't shoot. That's why there were so many different lineups, because there were that many guys who unreliable on one side or another. The only two players who could consistently do both were AD and Lebron...and that's if you caught Lebron on a good day.

Agreed. Stephen A is wrong. Ham was a BAD coach. The entire team did not like him or want him.Glad he is GONE!

7th and 8th is not good enough for LA LAKERS

LeBron needs to retire. He's bad for the game, period.

It's not 💯 percent ham fault players need to hold themselves accountable

Brown, Walton, and a bunch of others were not good coaches and got fired after LeBron by their new team. And Vogel just might get fired

It was just last year when Pelinka was considered by some folks to be NBA executive of the year for his on-the-fly deadline trades to retool the Lakers, which resulted in their WCF run. Darvin Ham should’ve never been the Lakers coach in the first place. And the bubble championship team should have never been dismantled; it should’ve been built upon for a much longer run. But now here we are: a Lakers team yet again looking for a new coach, who won’t be able to win a chip this year, next year, or year after that, not in a young and dynamic new NBA and with a new CBA designed to kill off superteams. Lakers can lose in the first round with or without LeBron; they’d be better off if he walks to go to ring-chase elsewhere and they can finally start a proper rebuild.

Him getting fired doesn't have shit to do with the roster. What the hell Westbrook gotta do wit anything Shannon

A series of bad personnel decisions over the years, that's what. They have a championship team in 2020, four years later no one is there but Lebron and AD...yet they wonder why they haven't been back.

I agree! I think he sabotaged the lakers because the players didn’t respect him. Bad line ups and no in game adjustments. If you listen to the crooked media they are trying to push the narrative that it’s LeBron and AD’s fault. If you are a fan of the game and followed the lakers this year you can clearly see that darvin ham was out coached the last two years. Every assistant can’t be a head coach.

Vogel was better than Ham, it was weird seeing vogel fired. He couldn't get Westbrook to work? That's on Rob Pelinka, westbrook was washed and that trade was an absolute catastrophe.
@waynepovilaitis2305Ай бұрын
Westbrook is a cancer wherever he goes.
@cookiecrisp1988Ай бұрын
@waynepovilaitis2305 one of the most overrated *stars* I've ever seen. His entire game was pure athleticism and the second he lost a step he literally had no other basketball skills to prop up his game.
