I played football and basketball . Football is much more challenging to master because it involves a lot of training and memorization of plays as well as being physically demanding. Basketball is easier to pick up and less demanding on the body. Less coaching too because it’s more about who is individually better but for football it’s more who has better plays and strategy
@bobbyjackson73256 ай бұрын
I played both basketball is easier to practice on your own personal time. To practice in football unless you have the resources. You need a group to practice.
@roberto90946 ай бұрын
Unless your speaking from a professional level I disagree. Anything you said about basketball wise can be easily done in pickup ball even rec. If you can't shoot you better be good at defense if you can't do that your out the league. NFL wise at least you got a better chance to be depth than in the NBA.
@jordank98906 ай бұрын
There's more training in basketball than football. basketball, boxing, chess... if you didnt start when you were kid there's no chance you will make it professionally later in life. Football you can never play and still make it pro (I.e Chris Manhertz)... and there's was another dude who ran in the olympics and he even got a try out to play in the NFL. Bball has a ton of plays too and unlike football you play both sides of the court. I had 20 offensive plays in highschool and all of the plays had at least 3 different sets (i.e center coming up to screen, center screening off the ball, wing player wrapping around.) this was all one play but had three different sets. that is like 60 plays just on offense. not to mention the 10 plus different Half court zone defense. 2-4 full court press defense. 2-3 offenses full court press breakers. 5 out of bounds plays another 2-3 sidelines out of bounds plays. and that was just for high school. Everything else is true. bball is less demanding and less coaching. football is more of a team sport than basketball. football in totality may be challenging to master. But no football player is a master of everything. Everyone has an assignment. QBs, coaching, there's 24-26 different positions ( if you count long snapper and fullback as a position). So, yes I would say football is more challenging. But that's only if you look at it unrealistically because no one masters everything.
@bobbym95104 ай бұрын
Bro you are talking about high school basketball vs nfl football lol. Have you seen Nfl players in high school? Perkins really underestimates how tough the NFL is. Being a WR is more than just running straight, route depth, combinations, timing, reading a defense, etc. is a part of the game. Being a QB is more than just throwing far, having a big arm. Being a DB is more about athleticism, it's disrespectful to the sport saying that an NBA player off the bench could play in the league. The NFL is an art, there's a reason why it's the most popular sport in the US.
