First Test: Boblov A22 alongside a Boblov W1 HD 1080p

Took a quick stroll around the block with a Boblov A22 and a Boblov W1. Really interesting excursion. Both were filming at t1080p / 30fps which is their default settings. Neither have any internal image stabilization but the quality of the image is where the real question lies.
More experiences with both to follow.

I'm not filming a full length Hollywood feature film therefore vivid colors aren't necessary just a clear video, date & time stamp and audio....A22 works for me!

That's an interesting take. I just find that every time I see the A22 everything comes up purple.

One on left looks better. I was considering the W1. But worried about battery life and ease of viewing/managing footage

I bought the W1. The picture and audio quality is actually very good. Battery life is about 90 minutes when filming in 1080p.

I need accurate time stamps, and quick on off. Recording. Like the dact that the W1 is discreet and has two clips on the front and back. Don't think it has night vision though like most others

I find the W1 is far superior. The colours seem to be much more accurate. The two clips on the W1 do make it more discreet and provide more flexibility. Indeed, you are right, the W1 does not have night vision. Second to that, as it does not have a display on the device itself you need to insert the microSD into a computer to review footage. As to battery life: about 1 hour and a 1/2.

​​@@campbelloflongbranch I have a W1 and the audio is so quiet its barely audible. I even drilled the mic hole slightly larger but that didn't help. Is your W1 like that?

I’ve been loving mine the last month or so! The A23 is such a vast improvement! …even considering the A24 for next month to compare!

I bought the Boblov a 22. The picture quality is more like 480p. The colors are all washed out. It was $49 on amazon.

Like I've mentioned before I find it makes everything purple. That said, feel it does quite well in low light and its 'night vision' isn't terrible.

You need to turn off night settings that's what causes the purple hue

​@@Scitch-et4vkThanks for the advice, I'm waiting for my camera to arrive, I bought it at Walmart online, but seeing the purple color in the images in the video disappoints me, but now that you say that the problem is due to night vision...they come back my hopes
