Bills knew going into NE game that they had less than a 10% chance to get the one seed and a better than 75% chance at the 2. They played more packages specifically designed to slow down the run than they normally do because they know they have struggled there and are no doubt thinking about maybe having to play the Ravens again. They were down 3 of 4 starting defensive backs and their #1 linebacker. They fell behind to NE 14-0, then scored the next 24 points. NE did not pull within 3 until there was 1:13 left on the clock. Let me say that again, at the 2 minute warning they had a 10 point lead. How is that "struggling". If that is "struggling" what do we call what the Chiefs have done all year? And you can't say "but the Chiefs are 14-1" because the Bills won the dang game - it is basically the same thing - and it was not as close as several of the Chiefs wins. The Bills are fine.

i disagree with first take bills have a elite oline with a top3 qb in the league and a very good rb with solid recievers. all you need to win a superbowl is a very good oline and good runningback if you have a elite qb. because if you controll game clock you can rest a suspect defense. I think everyone is over reacting about the Bills defense. They had a bad game against the Rams. Then against the Lions they kept the lions in check until there was only a minute left in the 3rd and they did it with both safeties out, Douglas out and Milano out. This week vs pats again all those guys out, offense not fast out of the gate except James cook. But i cant discount the rest of the season where the defense played exceptionally. I think for the bills if they can get everyone healthy going into the playoffs, they have just as good a chance.Try to win this week and secure 2 seed and then rest in week 18. But honestly i would rest guys even if they lose to jets, either way you will need play the ravens and i dont know if home field is as good as having everyone healthy. Bills peaked too early. Gave up the bag too soon that's the worry. Perhaps they go back to trending upwards next week. If they slump before the playoffs they will lose. They definitely can turn it back on but did they dig too far into the playbook just before the playoffs. The chiefs "played shitty" all year because they were conserving for the playoffs! The bills are a better team when they don't have expectations, they can catch good teams sleeping but because of their bad defense , Josh Allen and that offense are only able to do so much. I think they will lose to the ravens in the second round. They shouldn't have loss to the rams.
