Have to pump the breaks on the lions their schedule was so easy last year their division sucked. They didn’t really play good defenses and when they did they either lost or struggled really badly

It is going to be interesting in the NFC . The Lions most certainly will be in the mix. I was so wrong about Dan Campbell . He has turned that entire organization into a major contender. The Packers and Lions are my prediction for the North. I know the Vikes and Bears will be in the fight. But I just think the Packers or Lions will win the North.

They didn’t go for 2 against the Cowboys from the 7 because they were pissed about the call. They went for 2 because they didn’t want to go to OT and risk more injuries because they had already wrapped up the division title.

The Lions were virtually locked into their playoff position in that Dallas game, that's why going into it there were questions whether they would even play their starters. Reason I say this is that's why Campbell went for 2, yeah they wanted to win but ultimately the main thing was to come away uninjured, it was already a hard fought game so in Dan's eyes might as well just go for the gusto then and not risk overtime.

Aside from last year Mahomes has ALWAYS had good to great offensive line play. They had 2 Pro Bowl/All Pro offensive linemen last year and in 2021 and 2022 they had 3 Pro Bowl/All Pro linemen. Joe Thuny their LG is a future hall of fame Player in my opinion. Their Center is a top 3 center in the league since he was drafted In 2021. Their RG also drafted in 2021 it very good too. So Mahome boy doesn’t know What it’s like to play behind a really bad offensive line. Joe Burrow does but it doesn’t seem To matter because he wins anyway. If Detroit had a bad line they would not have paid Goff that money because he would suck. Daniel Jones needs an above average offensive line to give you average play. Jones does have an All Pro left tackle in Andrew Thomas. They have a promising Center too. Guys staying healthy is the most important thing. I don’t know What the Bengals do but all 5 linemen played every single snap together last year

Purdue line may have been 20th But he does have the best left tackle not just in the game today but of his generation. Purdue offensive line this year was far far far better than the line Burrow had when he went to the Super Bowl in 2021. Of the starting o linemen for The Bengals in 2021 only one of Them is even still in the NFL for Christs sake. That was 4 of them last year they ever played!!

Funny how they never ask these questions about GB. They are all about J Love and he only had a good half season. The Lions have shown you who they are for the last season and a half get over your past biases.
