Do people forget that it’s the offseason? And fans fail to realize that this is a job to these guys. Their entire lives don’t revolve around their jobs. They don’t have to explain why they’re doing whatever it is they’re doing. Least of all a 20 year vet who should have built up enough league cache to be able to miss a practice or two. Especially in June. Fans and the media feel like they have ownership over these guys and their every move and decision has to be approved and accounted for.

Personally I’m an Eagles 🦅 fan so I can care less what Aaron Rodgers does. My opinion is that he should have done it a little differently if he was going to do that. I don’t care what anyone says that was a bad look to skip mandatory training camp like he did. He’s supposed to be their leader and face of a franchise that is trying to accomplish things they have not done in a very long time and does that. He should have thrown to his own receivers as a gesture of good will to the team.
