I'm so tired of hearing about Cj Stroud. He can take a stepback just as easily as anyone else. JLove getting slept on.
@russellchristian43203 ай бұрын
I agree, although I say let 'em keep sleeping on him. Let him have a whole season like the last half of last year.
@benswanson53943 ай бұрын
@@russellchristian4320 he does that, and he's the unequivocal undisputed MVP.

Brock has the best supporting cast, CJ now has one of the best supporting casts, and Love had another year down with the YOUNGEST team in the NFL.. and added a lot of talent via the draft and FA… they’re set up for the next 3+ seasons EASY….

Love is only going to get better. He will improve and his weapons will also improve. His coach can really scheme guys open and Jordan has the right attitude to play the way coach wants. MLF has been in his ear for 3 years. Jordan is fully baked into the system. I am expecting an MVP type season.

Great breakdown, I agree with you. One other point. Some QBs kinda burt onto the scene then struggle the next year or don't build on it. One reason for that is defensive coordinators will find a way to slow you down, take away your strengths or apply pressure with looks and schemes. The great ones cant be stopped. You can slow them down some but they have too many tools in their bag or great revognition skills of defenses. Remember Gruden when he got traded yo the Bucs? Wade Wilson had a great year but he played under Grudenband Grudenbknew how to pressure him. This was publicly stated afterwards. Remember Colin Kaepernick when he took over and went yo the Superbowl? Next year he wasn't the same because they had an offseason to plan and study him. Some QBs especially inexperienced ones can find some quick success until they figure out their strengths and weaknesses. I think Love will improve for all the reasons you stated plus....he has a young group all around him that seems to be acsrnding at the same yime. Kinda like Brady and the Pats in the early years. They are doing things right in GB. Id be surprised if they dont continue to improve. Which is also why I think Chicago may not have a yellow brick road yo the playoffs. GB and Detroit are there and improving.

Love is already a superstar. He'd need to regress and I don't see that happening. The odds are that he continues to improve as he gains more experience. His preparation and dedication to the team is all you can ask for and the rest will fall into place. Go Pack! 🏈🏈🏈

Love has a phenomenal demeanor as well. Always calm, cool, and collected. This goes a long way!! Trickles off to his teammates. Great leader

And can also make ANY THROW on the field!!! You can see it in how he plays that he learned a LOT FROM AARON!!! the off balance throws and just the way he moves is eerily similar to Rodgers!!

The entire team, and especially 10, is ascending. GPG!
@jeffjohnson27313 ай бұрын
Jordan Love really blossomed under Tom Clements and he will be back this year... I really see ascension in his career path as a young team builds chemistry around him and buys into what LaFleur and Clements are selling... The wildcard here is how much better is this Packer's defense going to be under Hafley in an attacking style and giving Love and crew more chances with increased turnovers created? I see this team winning 11 or more games and on the rise and the pressure is on Lions to try and repeat, but they have a very good nucleus, but already paying top dollar for them, whereas the Packers have rookie contracts in place and getting healthy on the salary cap. #gopackgo

Well, the 'tale of two seasons' doesn't really work for Jordan because in the beginning of the season, receivers weren't where they were supposed to be. When that happens, a QB is forced to hold on to the ball a little longer, throw it away, or throw it late when they shouldn't.
@thomasmoshier39203 ай бұрын
This might be where my good friend Adam and fellow Packer fan agree. Jordan Love is going to a huge star in the NFL. The organization is first class top to bottom. All he has to do is go out and ball. Don’t sleep on the Packers…

Yeah Shroud is much more likely to have a regression. He’s getting on all these podcasts and talking smack like he’s been a vet for 5 years leading the league in passer rating. He doesn’t seem focused at all.

Defensive coordinators have more film on you, they will try to take away what you do best. Stats wise is love gonna have a better year this year than last year? Or come close? 32tds/10ints. Mahomes by his standards had a shit year but they still won the SB. To be love is still in that unknown category, what QB is he truly? First half of the season or 2nd half of the season.
@omergaudetjrpackers4life3 ай бұрын
Few QBs have Tom Clements as their coach (Aaron Rodgers, Brett Favre, Kyler Murray). Clements a national championship winner (underdog) - Notre Dame & CFL hall of fame QB. Few QBs have the opportunity to learn from the best ball control QB in NFL history either. Few QBs have 3 years to develop before being thrown into the fire in real NFL action. That certainly don't say Jordan Love hasn't got a ways to go yet before reaching his potential. He needs to learn to win in the clutch something he failed miserably at early last season. Losing several games last year throwing late INTs in enemy territory needing a score to win. But no reason he won't continue to develop. Especially after 18 tds & 1 int in his last 9 games! A strong backfield & an improved defense should take allot more pressure off him this year. Another year of experience for his WR/TE room & a much improved O line will help as well. This team continues to get better & Jordan Love will continue to improve with them! The road to New Orleans is now just 7 weeks away. Can't wait to see year two from Love. Go Pack Go!

Not to mention working with Drew Brees in the off-season. I hope he stays ice cold. I love that he keeps his emotions in check whether he's winning or not.

Stroud had a very clean pocket compared to Love, look at highlights of both! And they had similar stats? Love>Stroud

Its fair to say that but i think he's just doing the average, there are other qbs who go crazy and then fall off, you cant predict that i dont think so it's just a safe guess that someone isnt gonna be as good as they look so far
