First time 2 Stroke ride Beta XTrainer

Love my new 2023 Beta 300RR! Rekluse clutched for the technical, rocky,gnarly, hilly stuff we do up here in north eastern Ontario Canada. Great bikes with a lot of character. A smart carb is in my future for next season. It’s snowing outside right now.🙄

I would not recommend the smart carbs/ lectrons / similar products. They still do require adjustment. Just follow the jetting chart in your manual and those settings will get you closer and will give better throttle response compared to the smart carb. I will say the lectrons/ smart carbs do help if you are riding in wildly different elevations but if you're not riding at 2000 ft elev one day and then 10k the following day, would not recommend.

I really miss the sound of 2 cycle engines on bikes. So awesome. Just not the same as 4 strokes.😢

It looks like you never got the opportunity to hit the power band, that combined with their light weight make them fun.

They have a detuned engine, this is a 100% enduro bike. It's basically a low end hill climber. Far better than 4 strokes as they can crawl better due to not flaming out
