I just bought one of these with my partner. We are going to set it up tomorrow. Looks like you had quite an awakening with your experience camping with your family. I hope you are doing well! Would love to see another video update on your next adventure

Thank you for that it's not often you see the interior of a bell tent and so nice to see the real adventure. I look forward to the next time and to see how things are developing.

haha, great video! Thanks for keeping it REAL! I love the inside look at your tent. I'm about to purchase one, but just for me and my boyfriend, or me and my girls from work ... no small children! I'm excited to get it and get it setup, but it's good to be reminded that camping is camping. You're right! Hope you have lots more adventures in the tent.

I'm really glad you liked it real! There was no way I was going to be able to make it all seem perfect! Hehe. It is a lovely lovely tent though and I cant wait to get back out in it! I'm sure you will love yours :)

Thank you for sharing real life loving your channel I have a 12yr old daughter with Autism x
@AWoodlandAdventure4 жыл бұрын
Awww thank you Rebecca. Its difficult to carry on with a normal life sometimes and do all the things you love when your child has autism. Its partly why I cant keep up with the channel as much as I'd like to. I've been to the woodland a fair amount recently and hope to go with just my son one day soon. Hopefully that will make it into a vdeo as so far I've filmed every trip but sometimes he isn't keen on being filmed and he hates the outside (too messy, bright, loud and stinky) so we will see!

Good at last to see something that doesn't entirely work, so as I can use your experience. I'm opening my land to glamping post Covid19, and am kitting out the first 5mtr bell tent. Steep learning curve.

Good luck! I'd love to do what you're doing but our woodland isn't suitable for it. Once we have the woodland set up for our own personal glamping I'll be experimenting more with layouts and finding what works the best for us :)

@@AWoodlandAdventure I can tell you that it's all about compromise. You'll never get it perfect, as new ideas will always arise as your knowledge and experience deepens. My belltents are my learning and earning phase, whilst I build timber and slipstraw 'dens', then they'll be stashed for workshop guests. Your woodland is likely more suited than you think. The biggest self-defeating issue for first time glamp hosts, is thinking that your setup isn't good enough. Yet I've seen vids of people glamping and enjoying the services of places that I wouldn't send my worse enemy to. THEY are great for a refreshed perspective.

Chocolate fingerprints, bird poo, muddy claw prints, boggy area -- so awesome, and so relatable! I really, really appreciate you sharing your real world experience! My brother and I each have a family of four, and we both just received our 6-meter bell tents and stoves. Your video was so good at setting realistic expectations of what we are going to experience with our families in the tents. So great! I am about to go through all of your bell tent videos, but I have a couple of questions right off the bat. Have you experienced any condensation inside the tent in cooler weather? Have you had any mold or mildew pop up in/on the tent? Thank you so much!

That's fantastic! I'm just about to watch your uploaded video with the bell tent. Once the small people are in bed that is! I love watching a fellow Kent person :)

Hi . Good video. I've had bell tent for most my life. I remember the first one we had. It had stamped on the side 1938 and we were using it in the late 80s. And we had 1 from the 50s too. What size is the tent in the film ? Its hard to remember the size of ours as I was only a kid then so they seemed massive. I've just got a 5m one and I'm waiting on it coming. Im just trying to get a idea of size. Alex

Hi great tour! Can I ask what flooring you use?
@AWoodlandAdventure4 жыл бұрын
At the moment we just use the tents own groundsheet with a few little rugs. Its far from ideal though. Id like to try some of the fitted rugs.
