​@ronframe387 they may of changed gears after the time trails, or heats. I help worked on a super late.model, we used to change gears depending if track was getting slick or was staying heavy.

Can't believe you go all the way to Albany to pick up Thruway to go to Fonda. Most all the trucks cut across Rte 29 to avoid added tolls (no tolls) and much shorter. Lots more help along the way if you have a problem. Lots of race fans go that way and racers.

Just take care of the right rear. Will be cautions and you will be fine. Nobody remembers who started 3rd or 16th so take your time and you will be fine. Can't wait.

You should have made the car free with all those adjustments. I wonder if lowering some ballast in the rear might have helped. There's that fine line where you free it up, but are slower. The only other thought would be a little more right rear spring. It may have freed it up on the throttle. Good bringing it home in one piece.
