I am a big fan of four dirt modified drivers one is your dad. One just passed away too soon. One thing about each is that they are really good people. Got to meet Mike and chat with him at Fulton when he was parking the truck. (Kinda walked in front of him). He took the time to talk with me and is just a nice guy. I even got to tell him about my all time favorite race at Skyline when his dad passed Chuck Ackulis on the last lap. Still envision that race over 30 years ago. 😂... He listened to the whole story. 😮 Anyway Mike's a favorite also because he drives clean. So Mike, as expected, you apologize. Not surprised, Johnson can't carry your helmet. Stay classy and Great video! Loved it! Look forward to seeing you race soon!

If you drive the middle of the straights and come down to the inside in the corners, don't be a baby if you (Danny Jr.) find another car there at some point. I'd drive that line too if that's where my car needed to be, but I sure wouldn't start a fight because I was driving a risky line and it blew up in my face. Sorry I missed you guys. Top 10 finish not bad. The crew did a great job. From the video you showed while still at the track, it looks like Johnson came down on Mike. You and everyone else, myself included weren't in the car. Maybe Mike did get a little loose, but not by what the video showed. Johnson should just be thankful they didn't both wreck. There was no need for Mike to apologize. Great conversation between cautions with Jim and Mike's sisters. Good luck with the next one. I realize many following Team 35 aren't pleased finishing 10th but IMHO a Top 10 is a solid race. It's not a track y'all run often and invading another playground can be difficult. So explain something. I’m from the south, and down here you either qualify or run heats. Never both. What does qualifying actually do when also running heats? Btw, the winer after the race came down on Mike! Not the other way around! And if he’s too woosy to deal with contact in a stock car race, send him off to the nearest drag strip! Mike was faultless, and doesn’t need to make excuses!

The hot laps/time sets their starting position for the heat race. The other cars on the track with Mike are all going to be in the same heat race.

That was absolutely not Mike's fault. Some racers hope that the other driver will back out when the bonsai the corner. It doesn't always happen and they run into people. Unfortunately, that's a part of racing. To me, every driver has to run a racing line. If those lines cross, you get into a interference. Then it's just a racing deal. Mike's line was a racing line.
