First Time Doing the Souplantation Food Challenge

After enjoying a lunch lunch at the Souplantation (aka Sweet Tomatoes), I challenged my friend to the #SouplantationChallenge. It totally isn't a thing, but we made it up. Since we don't pay per ingredient, we have access to the whole buffet.
The goal of the challenge is to create the nastiest combination of 2 or 3 food items that you can think of. It's actually pretty tricky because any two items could totally go together. For example, Ranch dressing on cornbread or candy sprinkles on a pizza. Adding that third object is what makes the treat disgusting and inedible. I created for Brooke a gluten-free lemon muffin topped with sugar-free chocolate mousse and bacon. She gave me a square of raspberry gelatin, cream of mushroom soup, and ketchup. It was so gross! I sat there for 20 minutes with the catsup mushroom Jello jiggling on my spoon. I psyched myself out so bad! I actually started crying, and I'm not a guy who typically shows his emotions. It was crazy. At the end of the day, I conquered my fear and took a bite. I'm never participating in another mystery food challenge again!
