You did a good job Lester,and it’s your first time using it.Paw paw always says it’s the best thing he has had ,the cab on the tractor you brought him. He loves the air conditioning,and always mentioned you when talking about it,he is spoilt now.If you ever have to have a new tractor you know you need one with a cab,it will stop your eyes from watering. Lester that was a great job on the dozer!! They r a lot of fun. My Daddy put me on 1 when I was 13 yrs old, a Caterpillar D7 & a John Deere Trackhoe 690 when I was 14 yrs old. I keep 4getting. U need 2 talk 2 Cuz about that Pecan tree. He might want some of it 2 make some bowls. Or get Pawpaw 2 call & ask him

What fun!! I'm a city girl and the most fun I had growing up was going to my great uncle's farm and he'd show us how to use the tractor and the little bobcat. He was smart because we would end up doing his work!! We loved it and he got free help.👍🏻👍🏻

Moving that log is not complicated, Lester. Get a chain, Rope or a thick tow strap aound that log, hook it to the dozer or tractor and pull it away from that fence.

Good job, Lester! I wish I could rent certain machines for the mess on the side of our property. We got vines over all the adjoining trees and over broken branches. They were too high to get to. It killed my favorite mango tree. Feels good to get cleared up, doesn’t! Awesome! 👏

I just started watching this video, but my husband runs heavy equipment and i have seen him use a strap to hook up to a log and pull it with the dozer to get the log free from sturctures. Then they unhook from the log and continue by pushing the log where they want it to go. no different then pulling a truck out of the ditch or such.

Well well Lester, now you can say you can operate a bulldozer. I think the suggestion to chain and then pull out that piece of tree trunk that is so close to the fence line is probably the best way to go. Hopefully you can get that done before they pick up the bulldozer. Ask where the chain is? *** Also, yes burning that pecan tree seems such a sad waste of beautiful wood. Yes, ask Cuz if he would like to pick up the pecan wood for free in exchange for him making several bowls out of some of it for you. They would be beautiful to have and such a great souvenir of the J & L Ranch. You could give some as Christmas gifts (Jami's mom, GG, and keep some for the home you will build there in the future). Also it can be planed into slabs for tables. Beautiful! Wondering, as it looked like the pile was pushed so close to the standing tree..... I am sure you realized that and I suspect it was just an issue of perspective from being filmed from your phone from a distance. What a great video, sure enjoyed it as always. @ImaSurvivorSanctuary
