I run a RXT and love it in my 04 cobra. Drives and shifts better than stock. Don’t forget to use a FORD clutch cable, and adjust it properly

If you install the speed sensor from your old t5 in the tkx on the same side as your old t5 it will work again

I used to run centerforce twin disc it was alot stiffer then all my buddies 5.0s but it grew on me over time

I took my McLeod twin disc out and put a single dual friction in. I couldn't stand the unsprung hub anymore.

I had a 09 WRX super easy clutch to learn i then drove my friends car he had a twin disk pretty hard to get used to and the bitch was kinda heavy…..i could only fucking imagine what it’s like trying to drive a race car

I think It would make some good content if we met somewhere near Alambama. Some good Ol' Chevy versus Ford action(4thgen Camaro VS FoxBody) I think our cars are very evenly matched up and would make for some good video. Let me know if your interested. Im right here in North Florida.

I had a spool for a short time. I didn't like the "chatter" the rear tires had when turning corners. I ended up getting the Detroit Locker. When I had a 5-speed, I used the Spec Stage 1 clutch. That was basically a "on" or 'off' clutch as well. I had no issues with it. I then switched to a built C4 auto.

I’m still not sure. Maybe at some point I’ll change it out but at the moment I’m going to try to just get used to it.

I have the rxt in a t56. Its 4 yrs old and i havent even tried it yet, lol. Dam project cars. Hope ill like it. Ever had the McLeod hydraulic conversation for fox bodies? Anything to say about it? Mine was damaged upon arrival. Figured that out when I couldn't get the system bled. They rebuilt it for me I haven't tried yet just wondering if you have any knowledge of their durability or if they were good.

Have you drove one with a McLeod RST. I was wondering how they compared.I was thinking about upgrading its starting to give a little slippage.I think I hurt it pretty bad at Ford Takeover you was up there when I did a burn out in 4th gear drop by mistake and cooked it up pretty good.

This is my first twin disc that I’ve owned. I’ve driven a couple of McLeod cars over the years but I couldn’t give you a fair assessment of them at this point.

I really value your opinion so please help a brother out. I have the opportunity to buy a one owner completely stock 92 hatchback with 180,000 miles on it for 5K. Was a daily driver, car hasn’t been touched, she needs a repaint and a few other things, but my thoughts are, is it worth buying the car and do I need to keep it stock or do I molest it and make it what I want? I know that I can buy a modded Mustang, but to buy virgin like this, should I feel obligated to keep it untouched? Love the channel and would like to hear your thoughts.

@@BREW2LFOXBODY I run a center Force in my 351 swapped turbo car and it seems to hold up pretty good and nowhere near that price but I don't and will not push the horse power through this t5 to need a twin disc because these t5s can't handle insane horsepower very well

@@billpace3489 you also have to remember that this twin disk clutch kit comes with a flywheel too. Most twin disk clutches do not come with a flywheel, usually sold separately.

Why isn't the speedo working? Your putting extra miles on the car and if you sell it to some poor guy his car will have more miles on it than it shows on the odometer.

I get what you’re saying… buuuut I have no plans of selling any of my cars. Besides no one actually knows the true mileage of these cars anyway only having 6 digits to work from.
