One thing about kard they are not shy, and they are grown, both off cam on and on cam. They use a lot of Spanish in their lyrics along with of course korean and english, BM is one of their main writers and is pretty fluent in spanish. They also do a lot of latin sub genres and because/why they use a have a lot of latin influcence is because their biggest fanbase is Spanish speakers. Like kard is pretty big over there

KARD is so under appreciated. There are so few mixed/co-ed groups as it is. And they make very catchy songs. I'm glad more people are finding out about them. J.Seph had that short hair in Ring The Alarm because that was his first song after getting out of military service. The group had been doing other stuff while he was serving, and that was their first comeback. Hidden were so hyped for it. (Hidden Kards are the fandom name. Actually...We are part of the name. K = King card. BM is the king of clubs. A = Ace card. J.Seph is the Ace of spades. R = Joker cards. Somin & Jiwoo are the jokers & their suits are the heart & diamond. D = Hidden card. We are the ones that are the hidden strength of the group.)

To answer some of your questions the other guy I Jseph, the girl with the deeper voice is Jiwoo, and the girl with the higher voice is Somin, they pretty consistently have a Latin type beat and sound because they’ve really blown up in South America, and obviously we only see what they show on camera but on camera they’ve made it pretty clear they aren’t interested in each other that way and have a very sibling type relationship

KARD was the first k-pop group i ever saw live and I've been lucky enough to have seen them twice (I even bumped into BM and J.Seph in the parking garage after a show...they are very nice in person :D) They are so much fun at concerts and sound just as good live :) They are such an underrated group in my opinion. Their music is very latin inspired and they have a big fanbase in south America. Their b-sides are great too!

Actually, co-ed groups are extremely big in Latin America, which is why their fanbase is mostly Latin American. When I tell you we EAT THAT SHIT UP, I'm not kidding lol. We've had groups like Timbiriche in the 80s, OV7 in the 90's, RBD in the 2000's so I feel like the Latin American community just adopted them almost instantly because of this lol

Kard definitely leans into Latin vibes in their music & has a huge fanbase in Latin America! People also like to call them “adult kpop” because of their lyrics & the fact some of their choreographies have male/female partner dances. A great example of both would be the choreo for their song cake. Also If you think you’d like girl groups with a darker or more rock type concepts definitely recommend the group dreamcatcher! I don't really have good recommendations for guides cause I haven't watched any in quite a while, but if you want a good laugh and to get to know the dynamic between the members a little better I'd recommend a video called "kard being a chaotic mess" that was fairly popular a bit ago :)

BM's from LA and his father is from I think Sao Paulo? I may be wrong, but that side of his family is all Spanish speakers. Anyway KARD is huge in Latin America. The guy you don't know is J.Seph, the little round-faced girl who usually has the crazier hair is Jiwoo and the girl with the pointier face and usually darker hair is Somin. The reason that they're not 'fraternizing', as you put it, is that they're basically chaos siblings and it would be like sleeping with a relative. BM especially is like that annoying older brother who won't stop pretending to karate-chop you.

i love that you watched Bomb Bomb as one of the first honestly because that m/v is like Bisexual Nirvana (even for people who aren't bi lol) - it just really highlights how great having a co-ed group is even for visuals. If you are looking for a good girl group to listen to I recommend Dreamcatcher. They lean more towards rock especially in their early songs and have really good vocals and dances. Their mvs have a lore so definitely recommend watching them in order. I feel I should also mention that the group is pretty funny and chaotic
