Thanks for the reaction. One thing that i missed in this guide is the initial idea of Kard and that was to debut the guys as a rap duo. Which later got scrapped and the girls where added. Somins case is quite interesting since she already debuted in two other groups under DSP which were both on the cute side but that didn't fit Somin. She was active with Puretty from 2012 until their disbandment in 2014. In 2015 she redebuted in April (group) as the leader but she left the group after a couple months. At the time it was stated that she left the group to study. Then a year later they released the predebut singles for Kard to figure out if the group was worth debuting. It was the idea of the original DSP CEO because he created a Coed group in the 90s. Jiwoo was a trainee under FNC entertainment but wasn't set to debut yet (she trained with cherry bullet) so through connections between the two companies and an audition they offered her the part for Kard. She was skeptical about being in a Coed group until she heard Oh Nana which is the first song they did. They even joked about how she wouldn't have joined if it was another song. About the unit combinations there are a total of 4. The og duo J.Seph and Bm have two songs which are Inferno and Been that Boy. Somin and Jiwoo also have two songs which are Enemy and Fxxk You. Then there's the song Trust me which has two versions one of them is the J.Seph & Jiwoo version and the other one is the BM & Somin version. They do have other producers which BM works together with. He got really involved in the process after Dumb Litty but always wrote his Raps same as J. Seph. Jiwoo had a lot of input for the styling and mv concepts. The idea for the Dumb LItty MV is from her.

Jseph got his name from his older sister who was trying to spell Joseph, but ended up forgetting the O. He liked that name so that's why his name is Jseph.
