Got her! Threw her into the deep end of the metal pool, and she got it. Had " Stank face" immediately, started to headbang, and found that breakdown to her liking. There are 2 types of musicians....metal musicians, and then those who wish they could play their instruments at such a high, technical level. You definitely MUST look into Jinjer. You'll be pleasantly surprised. That band is a deep rabbit hole.

As a enjoyer of fairly heavy metal myself, I gotta admit that you are kinda jumping into the deep end. Slaughter To Prevail are amazing, but I wouldn't recommend it to people that are just dipping there toes into metal. There are some much more palatable subgenres and bands that would be easier to enjoy :> Slipknot is a long time gateway artist. Slipknot - Solway Firth comes to mind as one of their more recent songs 🤘🤘
