Here is some additional information on Ren's story that I gathered from old newspaper interviews, articles, and Ren's public livestreams and posts. A handful of people frequently post an earlier version of my comment to various reactions that they copied and pasted verbatim, so if this is a repeat just ignore this comment. I keep editing the information, as needed, and have removed details about Ren that some found to be too personal, such as his full name and D.O.B. All the information here was gathered exclusively from sources Ren personally approved for public release. Ren is a British musician/independent artist/producer, self-taught multi-instrumentalist; originally from Wales. Ren pursued a career in music from an early age. In 2009, while studying music performance at Bath Spa University, Ren began to experience health issues and was struggling to attend his lectures, which eventually caused him to discontinue his studies and return home. In addition, Ren was signed by Sony Records in 2010 and was working on an album when his health deteriorated to the point that he was unable to go on; consequently, his contract with Sony was dissolved. Ren would later relocate to Brighton. Ren's illness often kept him in bed for up to 23 hours daily. Ren was initially misdiagnosed with depression, bipolar disorder, and chronic fatigue syndrome, which led him to experience psychosis and develop PTSD. It would take seven years before a doctor in Belgium finally correctly diagnosed Ren with autoimmunity, Lyme disease, and resulting damage to the brain, organs, joints, and PTSD. Ren eventually underwent stem cell therapy in the United States, which improved his health, but it has not been a cure. Ren is in Calgary, Canada for at least six months (Summer of 2023), undergoing treatments such as IV therapy and other interventions five days a week, as well as surgeries (wisdom tooth removal and cavitation surgery). His Canadian doctor discovered that Ren also developed a condition called Mast Cell Activation Disorder (MCAD), which has affected the myelin sheath in his brain, his thyroid, and adrenals as well as his bones/joints. Hence, Ren is receiving additional treatments for this previously undiagnosed condition. He recently took a break from treatments and returned to the UK to visit family and friends, and to produce some very ambitious musical projects to be released soon. Ren has Lyme disease and was misdiagnosed for about 7 years with bipolar, depression a ME/ CFS chronic fatigue. He was given drugs that made things worse and was bedridden for up to 23 hrs a day, while Lyme disease progressed through his body destroying his immune system and crippled him with pain and sent him into psychosis. He was finally correctly diagnosed and treated in 2016 but his immune system was damaged.afyer 2 stem cell transplants, he started improving enough to restart his career but still had many symptoms and can only eat about 5 foods because his body is allergic. He is now in Canada getting 5 day a week intravenous treatments and treatment for the brain damage, auto immunity,adhd, ptsd. Through all of this music has been his outlet.He says it is the closest thing to God that he knows. He us a multiinstumentalist, song writer singer rapper, makes beats beatboxing, genre bender and a great human being. I think you should do Sick Boi next and then the Tales of Jenny and Screech (full) 13 minutes that should be done together. Sorry for the novel. Great reaction; new subscriber. Ren recently released a video of an older live stage performance of “Hi Ren;” it is worth checking out. He also just released a battle rap diss in response to someone dissing his artistry that is pretty epic. I wrote this introduction to Ren when I first discovered him earlier this year, as there wasn't a Wikipedia entry for people to look him up prior to March 2023. I have posted this info to every "Hi Ren" reaction I have come across since, and I hope it will be of some use to the uninitiated. "Hi Ren" is the song that put Ren on everyone's radar since December; it went viral and has garnered over 17 million views since its debut, but he has been creating great music for more than ten years. Many of Ren's songs resonate with people because he addresses struggles that many others face every day. Ren's music videos are frequently recorded live, often in a single take, although not necessarily the first take, and from various camera angles. In the case of "Hi Ren," it took four takes, all live in the room, to get the footage he wanted. Someone commented that Samuel Perry-Falvey who filmed "Hi Ren," talks about the production of the video in the comments of Jonathan Hiller's (Filmmaker Reacts) reaction to the song. According to him, this video footage is not a one-take per se, but the audio was recorded live in a single take. Ren's release, "Sick Boi," is almost another chapter to "Hi Ren" and appears to have been filmed in the same room. Ren is an independent artist/singer/songwriter/busker/producer from Brighton, UK. He plays multiple instruments (acoustic, electric, and bass guitar, piano, melodica, drums), has impressive vocals, produces all his own beats, is an excellent storyteller, and is quite the philosopher and poet. His live music videos are especially impressive. Ren's personal reflections are threaded through many of his songs; "Insomnia," "Depression," "Diazepam," "Penitence," "Dear God," "Heretic," "Dominos," his "Freckled Angels" album, in particular his song "Fire," just to name a few, all deserve a listen. His song "Money Game" (Part I & II) is another recommendation, although it is less of a personal song than it is an indictment of greed and the resulting injustices in this world. Ren is about to shoot "Money Game Part III." Ren's Hip Hop/Rap style songs are all worth checking out if you enjoy this genre; they are pretty amazing. Check out "The Hunger," "Genesis," "What You Want," "Losing It (FISHER rap retake)," "Right Here, Right Now (Fatboy Slim one shot retake)," "Life is Funny," "Love Music (Parts 1, 2, and 3)," "Crucify Your Culture," "Power," "Hold On," "Bittersweet symphony (The Verve retake)," his recent releases "The Illest Of Our Time" and "Animal Flow" (both the full production and the live acoustic version), and his latest release, “Murderer,” which is fire. Ren's performances with Sam Tompkins ("Blind Eyed," "Earned It /Mans World / Falling," "Walking on the Moon/No Diggity," "Feeling Good/Trouble So High/Masterblaster (Jammin')," "Latch," "Wild Thoughts/Crazy in love (Live Session)," "Same Old Situation (Live, feat. Ren)," "Improvising Around Stevie Wonder," "Live in the Streets of Brighton, UK," "What Went Wrong" Part I&II) are definitely a must. "The Big Push" (Ren Gill, Gorran Kendall, Romain Axisa, and Glen Chambers) busking sessions, concerts, and live recordings all are amazing and well worth checking out. All but the drummer sing lead vocals at times. Ren, Gorran, and Romain all play multiple instruments. Ren plays acoustic, electric, and bass guitar, piano, and drums. Gorran plays acoustic, electric, bass guitar, and harmonica. Romain plays acoustic, electric, bass guitar, ukulele, and piano. They are each incredibly gifted artists, and their solo work is completely different from each other. Well worth checking out. Their covers of "I Shot the Sheriff/Road to Zion/Hip Hop," "Wade in the Water/Nina Simone/Trouble so Hard," "War Pigs," "Roadhouse Blues," "My Generation," "Paint It Black," "An Englishman in New York," "Bongo Bong" are excellent. On "These Boots Are Made For Walking'/Satisfaction/Everybody," "Praise You" (Fatboy Slim Cover), and "What Kind Of Woman Is This," all three take a turn singing. The songs "Oh My Woman," "Swan Song," "Sweet Little Lady," "It's Alright," "Dignity," "Watch Out," and so many others are equally impressive. The band, at least for the time being, performed their last official busking session and gave their last concert in September of last year (2022) due to the fact that Ren was leaving for Canada to undergo specialized medical care and surgeries for his multiple health issues. In anticipation of his stay in Canada, Ren prepared some music ahead of time to be released over the next six months that he expects to be gone. He released "Sick Boi" and "Bittersweet Symphony (The Verve retake)," which is another masterful work. Ren released his song, "Illest Of Our Time," on his birthday, March 29. His recent release, "Animal Flow," is out now in two versions, a full-production music video and a live, one-take acoustic version. Ren's release, "Su!cIde," recently premiered, and it was hard to watch to the point that I was not able to watch or listen to it again. I was not even able to watch a single reaction to it. It is a sad, haunting, gut-wrenching tribute to Ren's friend Joe who took his own life. Ren’s follow-up to “Su!cIde,” "For Joe," is also sad and emotional, but strangely enough, it has had a healing effect on me and has given me a sense of closure. Even the lyrics that "gutted" me in "Su!cIde" impacted me differently this time around.

Yes, Ren loves reactors! If you ever get an automated copyright claim or block on his songs, just dispute it (dispute, not appeal) and Ren's team will release the claim quickly and put you on the reactor whitelist. Best of luck with the channel growth! It's exciting to start attracting attention, but don't burn yourself out trying to please your audience, because we're subscribed; we'll be here whenever your next video drops, whether it's one day later or seven. Set a pace for releases that fits the rest of your life, record when you're relaxed and not pressed for time, have fun with it, be yourself, and don't stress about doing it "wrong". The only wrong avenue is to let self-criticism get in the way of the learning process of becoming comfortable on camera. No one expects you to have it all smooth and figured out right out the gate. (Go back to the beginning of some big reaction channels and compare the skill in their early vids with who they are on camera now!) Just keep swimming, you got this!

we actually use all of our brain , we made it after all , most of it is on standby like a hard drive but when pushed we can access all of it , but not at the same time , parts of our usual thinking process stop to gain access , like changing a game on a pc , the processor utilizes the necessary parts for survival .

Ren is probably the greatest storyteller on the planet right now, but the best thing about him is his humility, and need to help others. A great example is his diss battle with King Dotta, who gave Ren and Knox Hill a massive diss reaction. Knox replied by taking him down, and Ren did the same, but stopped part way through and actually apologised before dropping a verbal nuke. Then he told his own fans to check out Dotta and "give him time," because he's a pretty good rapper. Incredibly generous! As he says himself, a rising tide raises all ships.

Thank you. That honestly means a lot. It was a struggle for sure. Almost 4 years of methadone treatment and I just said one day I'm done with it. I owe it to the people in my life. Y'all are pushing me in the right direction as well. Some people took those words improperly I guess and I'm just like "it helped me out in life but ok". That's your opinion. @@loud_wolves wow good for you I agree with you it's a choice! I gave up smoking 20 years ago and the light bulb moment was so strong I never needed any aids to give up. But I totally believe your struggle with your addiction would have been hard. People who turn your words into something negative are just not ready to hear them or help themselves. Saying our story out loud will definitely help with healing and these reaction videos are going to help you and most definitely alot of people needing to hear them too. It's all consuming. But in the light you see everything, including darkness, but because there is so much to see it's not as consuming as darkness can be. Thank you. This is actually one of the reasons I started to do KZbin. I respect anyone that has pride but it's one of the biggest double edge swords in a man or woman's life. It can help push yourself but it can also hold you back if you need to suck up your pride and ask for help. Most men will not do this. The walk in my life has taught me to not be afraid to ask and its taught me to let others know that its ok if you need help and lend that helping hand. I can't say I agree with everything you said, however, it was a good reaction, I am subscribed now. I really think you will love Ren. He's a good dude through and through. Do check "Tale of Jenny and Screech" but go for the full version. If you enjoy hip hop, I think you will like the hunger, illest of our time, losing it and definitely the hunger. And absolutely and 100% check out the money games. But to add to the video - Ren does live one takes. There are no cuts in this video, only camera switches. The spitting in this song is nothing compared to his "IM LOOSING IT". He's been bitten by a TIC and has LYME DICEASE. And travel to Canada for right treatment. Witch he didn't get for the last 10 years. He's 33 y.o. now. Best regards from Norway 🇳🇴
