I hate to suggest this, but you might look into mil plates for your city. It's pricey and boring to build them, but having them as a foundation will make moving your city about easier and less likely to break. This is an interesting video. Good luck and have fun!

Hi and welcome. I think that's a fair suggestion - it's just that I would have to MILS the whole city and as you say it's pricey. It might be worth it. But actually the base sections were pretty stable with the buildings attached and even with MILS I would still have to break them into modules for transport. Worth considering though, and thanks for the suggestion!

Hi, great video. Ive atarted displaying my MOCs at the start of 2023, and done about 4 so far. Next one at Bricktastic in Feb next year. Great work on the packing and love the display boards, a lot of people dont bother with these but i always find them interesting to read.

Hi Max, great to see you’re finally taking the plunge with shows. This video is great and has given me some ideas. You’ve really showed me up for how disorganised I am 😂. The info boards are great and it’s really something I should do with my display. If you need to get new boxes in the future i recommend getting the Really Useful Boxes. The 83l and 43l take 2 baseplates quite comfortably and you can get them for a decent price at Asda and Argos. They seem to do the trick for me. Good luck with the show, you’re about to jump down the rabbit hole 😂

Hi Andy. Thanks for the comments and the tips. I should look into those RUB's - the ones I use at the moment are the smaller 9 litre A4 sized ones which are great for storing parts but not big enough for modulars. I'm looking forward to the show so we'll have to see how it goes :-)
