The Tehri Dam is the tallest dam in India. It is a multi-purpose rock and earth-fill embankment dam on the Bhagirathi River near Tehri in Uttarakhand, India. Tehri Dam is now also used for conducting water sports, people from all around the world comes here and enjoy water sports activities.
It is also a hot destination for families who can enjoy here high speed boating and a night stay in a floating huts on the water.
