Would not have left without buying 2/3 litres if I was there…😂 Do research on the Navratri 9 day Hindu festival coming up celebrated with different customs in different states. If u can visit Gujarat to see what the real Dandiya dance celebrations are like, plz do. (Not the fake DJ ones with Movie songs). If cannot, find something authentic locally or in Mumbai maybe. Offcourse, another time to cook some lovely new foods. In the East, there is Durga Puja so it’s big for Bengalis too…

My ancestral native place is adjacent to this village. Traditionally, out of 4 nipples, very small calfs are given milk from 2, a bit older ones from 1. In wild conditions they don't get additional diet and care, domestic cows already produce milk much more than what calf needs. So calves aren't starved. Our cows are not famous for milk quantity, but pure desi breed cow's milk and ghee is in very high demand for health benefits ❤

There are some gaushalas where it's open ground untied cattle which respond and come to you when called by their individual names. It's fascinating like on legendary levels. Like a entire herd of more than 50 cows and only the one who is called will come.

Dear Liam , I have one suggestion for you, please try to visit kaas plateau near satara city 120 km onwards from pune side . It is very famous for flower valley. Mostly in mid Sept to mid Oct there is pick season for this flower blooming . There is 25 km radius plataue . It's having very beautiful nature with 200 types of wild flowers . Near by 2_3 waterfalls are also there. And now this is pick days for flower blooming . I just visited in last week . Pls try to visit

In this culture, cow killing is forbidden many think its just religious stupidness but it is not. Indian subcontinent breed cow are the only breed which have unique quality. This native(desi) breed cow's milk is the most compactible for human body. It is called A2 milk. Milk from animals if consume everyday can have the risk of chronic diseases in lifetime. But, A2 milk if consume for whole life there is no risk of any chronic diseases. Plus its nutritious to human body.
