Try some scent gel like "megastrike" on your Texas rigs they will hold on to it longer to get a good hook set in them!

You can get to the second pond if you would have walked just a touch further. Not really a bad walk.

That pond is a cold weather pond. It's Heavily pressured with being that close to the road. Go down two ponds At and start using top water
