We've been on 40+ cruises, most out of Port Canaveral and Ft. Lauderdale and all (but a few) have been on Royal Caribbean. We love Allure! Also love your excitement as well as seeing Nate & Michelle on the Royal Promenade for the first time. Good to always drive to the furtherest point that you want to visit on the islands and then work your way back to the ship. That way if you have any auto issues, you'll have time to get help and will end up closer to the ship in the end. If your family looked at Port Everglades webcam, they could watch your ship leave and if you're on the Port side, they could possibly see you. Our son watched us leave port and the camera zoomed in on us as we were on the phone with them. Well.....gotta go book another cruise.
