Their names are Luka Sulic and Stjepan Hauser, two young Croatian cellists, who after touring like Rock Stars for ten years disbanded last year. Mr. Hauser is currently on an extended European tour by the name of "Rebel With a Cello" , selling out major venues. Rb

These guys are AMAZING!!!!! You have to go down their rabbit hole. They play so many famous rock songs on their cellos. Plus the most incredibly beautiful classical music, as well. Top tier talent!! 🙌

My hubby played the cello and now we are introducing our daughters to it. I let my 7 seven year old listen to the intro. She said, “wow, that’s lit.” There you have it! 😂

They are always so fun to watch. I first discovered them on an episode of the TV show Glee. When you keep in mind, a cello has no frets and finger placement is critical, the speed they play is phenomenal.

The 2Cellos are one of my favorite Modern Classical Bands!!! Discover this group in 2014 and I have been in love with them ever since. I have two of their albums. Just a great Classical group!!! Also, Black Violin are another Classical group that I really. The 2Cellos are just Incredible!!!!

Got to see them on their final tour, saw them in Perth (Australia, the 3rd last concert), was EPIC..., it is just them and a drummer, they did go heave on the AC/DC songs (Perth being the home of Bon Scott and all). Well worth the cost to see (I had to add accommodation ant traveling as not local to Perth), glad I had the chance.

Check out the Live Concert from the Roman ampitheatre in Verona Italy, its great. They also were the opening act for Elton John a tour or two back. Live they are amazing.

2Cellos are amazing. They started with a cover of Smooth Criminal and the rest is history. They tell great stories with their music videos. As far as mixing classical with rock, I like their cover of Wilhelm Tell's Overture/The Trooper from Iron Maiden even more

I'd highly recommend watching their Arena di Verona concert, as well as Mombasa (Live at Suntory Hall, Tokyo)...both are posted on their page here on YT. It's crazy how fast they can play. I was lucky enough to see them 3 times on their final world tour last year.

These guys are awesome! I saw them live a couple years ago. One of my faves of theirs is their appearance on Glee, doing the instrumentals of the Glee cover of Smooth Criminal I'd also recommend you check out the Piano Guys if you like these guys! Their Let it Go/Winter medley is so good

Glad you enjoyed this performance. It is all cellos, but at times there are definitely more than two cellos playing at once like around 4:34. It subtly done, and I've no doubt it's these tow playing, just on a separate track. and of course with the added electronic cello at the end.

One of the best covers of a rock song... I think Apocalyptica was first in the genre of rock / metal covers with cellos but both bands are amazing if you like this style. Would be cool if you'd react to Apocalyptica with Nina Hagen covering Seeman (originally a Rammstein song)
