It’s so hard to believe that some people never heard Aaliyah’s music before, to where wonder if they’re telling the truth or if they heard her before & just didn’t know a name to put with what you heard. However you saying you just started listening to R&B a couple of months before this video makes me think you may be telling the truth albeit mind blowing because I LOVE R&B & it’s literally one of the main pulses to black people’s music I’ve seen a few 1st time Aaliyah reaction videos & this one is my favorite so far! 😂😂 The way you pretty much instantly fell in love with the track, her voice, her beauty, & then became protective of her is HILARIOUSLY cute! 🤣 Yes she had that effect on many! I admit: I didn't GET this when it was popular; and I was a teenager. I was very narrow minded back then. But I saw a documentary about Aaliyah years later, and started really appreciating her style. Her voice was so incredibly smooth, and effortless. And the beats, the rhythms, the sounds, the arrangements of her songs...very unique. She was such a talent.
