I study poetry, and have placed finalist in my county’s Poet Laureate competition when I was in High School (the national poet laureate does presidents graves, etc) This song contains the best poetry I’ve heard in a very long time. He means every word every way. Trust me.

lol going from daylight to this is for her first experience is funny. He has a few nursery rhyme songs for sure.. I been a big fan since 2000 and I always tell people getting into him that, impossible kid on is his most accessible, then his middle stuff like none shall pass and skelthon, then his most dense stuff is his earlier stuff like float, labor days etc. So if you wanna challenge yourself lyrically that is the way to go. I mean if you take Oxygen and compare it to Rings or Jumping Coffin, it's night and day.. Also, Aes produced everything himself from skelthon on, you'll totally notice the production shift. Everything else is Blockhead and El-p for the most part. good stuff. With Aes, I'd personally do one full listen though without stopping except for interludes for copyright stuff, then go back the second time and go bar for bar. Good stuff guys!

You're thinking of a study that some data scientist did that compared the vocabularies of 85 rappers. Aesop was waaaay out ahead of everyone else. They had to put a break in the chart, so the space between Aes and GZA wasn't ridiculous. And GZA has a crazy vocab, himself.
