He smiles a lot because had not he done so, he wouldn’t have not sounded as he did. And he’s smiling up to his eyes. He’s feeling something, he is driving his singing with it. Brief, he’s not singing without a purpose, mechanically.

I just love this man's voice. This performance was from 1961. He sang this song for the last time in 2011 before he died of cancerr. True class personified!!

I think you will enjoy the song "More", also a very popular Andy Williams classic.

Thanks for that Cinnamon --back when singers really sang. I grew up watching his tv show from 1962 to 1971. He used to have Christmas shows each year, like Perry Como, Bing Crosby and others. Andy Williams (1927-2012)was such a talented and nice man. I have his autobiography "Moon River And Me --A Memoir." Just two Andy Williams requests (though he recorded hundreds of songs) "Happy Heart" and "Can't Get used To Losing You."

trivia: "Moon River" was composed by Henry Mancini with lyrics by Johnny Mercer. the house in "Midnight in the Garden or Good and Evil" was built by Mercers great grandfather General Hugh Mercer started building the home in 1860 but the civil war interrupted the construction and wasn't finished until 1868 by the new owner but was still refereed to as "Mercer Mansion"
