Wonderful reaction and personal comments. Yes her family was her shield and still is and has kept her grounded throughout her entire career. It is the love that makes it work. This is one of her underrated songs at this point since she was only 11 when she wrote it and performed it at 12. Many think this could be a James Bond theme for a movie and I agree.

Her immediate family and her uncles family gave up their lives in Norway and moved th the US at her request so that she could further her career. Yes, she is 12 when she sang this. They talked about that in the interview just prior to this song. Who knows her age when she wrote it.

Yes I think she was 12 here - she sang this after a short interview for Swedish tv (during which she sang acapella short bit of "Diamonds are Forever" after being asked which is her favourite Bond song.... she was happy to be asked to sing a bit from the one she mentioned )

yes, the barefoot princess was 12. She did write this song for her family. It’s an original. That right there tells you the talent that she has. I think the line that gives me the most that brings a tear to my eye. Is that that young age she put the line in there forgive me for all that I am. She already knew at that age that her music was way more than herself. She is absolutely an angel sent from Heaven.

You reacted after 'one note' and that's something we all do 'every time' we listen to her. Her age comes up often but the more you listen to her the age factor becomes totally irrelevant in regards to what she sounds like. The tone which comes from within her is smoked with a soulfulness which touches our hearts to such a degree her voice inspires us to be the best we can be as human beings, kind, caring and more loving than ever before in our lives. In this video she is 12. See what I mean? We just didn't listen to a 12 year old girl sing this song (which she helped write)! We listened to someone who is among us to sing for us since she was born. There is a video of her singing in bed at 1 and 1/2 years old with a microphone! You ask, "What was she singing?" Oh, a few lines form a Whitney Houston song !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Angelina Jordan is amazing, no doubt about that. You should check out Diana Ankudinova, a young lady from Russia. You should see her singing the classic Elvis Presley song, " Can't help falling in love ". I'm 100% sure you have never heard a voice like this. You will be shocked. Can't even really compare her to anybody, she's one of a kind. This is one of her songs that she sings in English. Your gonna be lifting your jaw up from the ground once you hear this. Very unique voice. 😎

Loved your reaction and comments RR. Yes, she is 12 in this video, the accompanying interview before she sang she says she does not feel like a 12 year old until she looks at her passport. She is such a sweetheart and listening to her talk is a treat. BTW, just a note, when you speak into your Mic during the video, it automatically takes the volume of the video playback to a very very low audio level, takes several seconds to recover making it harder to hear her sing. Not a criticism, just wanted to let you know. Cheers, look forward to the next.
