The baby and very little girl are Angelina's cousins - the preteen girl is Angelina's sister Juliette and the Piano Player is Rob Christie Director of the Republic Records Los Angeles Studio which is the record label that Angelina signed with when she was 14 years old.

I'm 80 and was an Elvis fan from his earliest years. I never liked this song because the way he performed it made a mockery of its meaning. Angelina has brought it back to what it was meant to be.

Great reaction. my friends. Angelina was able to take this song and give it its true meaning and by slowing it down you really have to listen to the lyrics as she sings them directly to you. I love the throwback of the video with the vintage hairdo, the leather jumpsuit and the guitar. All Elvis influences and I would say definitely Priscilla Presley's influence for sure. My interpretation of the symbolism of this music video: First, and foremost; Angelina Jordan at 16 is the epitome of a Storytelling ARTIST, and she has the ability to take us by the hand and lead us down an imaginary path that we visualize as reality. The remarkable fact is that we experience this in each of her performances. In this video we see her as a married woman in her mid to late 20s. As the video starts out, we see dishes, and it is a symbol of a home. As AJ sings the phrase “Were caught in a trap, I can’t walk out” we see 3 small children, this to me is a marriage where the children come first. If it were AJ by herself, she would not stay in a relation without trust. (CopyRight)

That's one interpretation Larry. I still believe it represents Angelina's journey in her singing carrier. She has always been inspired by the classics of music history. Thus the Antique Store. Angelina's cute cousins and sister Juliette represent Angelina's journey through different ages admiring these classics of that music history. Their wonderment in their eyes gazing at these historic treasures surrounding them (the antiques) is apparent on their faces. The Guitar (a replica of the one Elvis in his 68 comeback special) and the Black Leather Suit are nods to Elvis himself. The Hair, her nod to Priscilla Presley. I'm sure some might have a different take than either of these. That's what art is and does. 😀❤👣

@@OleOlson121 AJ's version of Suspicious Minds was directed by Cole McCarthy and his goal was to have AJ, the storyteller, make us visualize what the song was about and to coincide with the Elvis movie that was released at the same time. The Hagstrom Red Guitar used in this video is a modern up to date copy of the one Elvis used in 1968, and belongs to Rob Christie, AJ’s A&R rep from Republic Records/Universal Music Group. The Hagstrom Red Guitar belonged to musician Al Casey, a member of Elvis’ backing band during the special in 1968. According to an accompanying letter from Casey, he was asked to let Elvis use the guitar by the producers, as they "thought it would look beautiful on camera and with the set." Elvis Presley’s 1942 Martin D-18 acoustic guitar may have recently sold for $1.32 million, but fear not - another of the King’s axes, this one his cherry-red Hagstrom Viking II electric guitar, famous for its use in the legendary '68 Comeback Special, is hitting the block. The semi hollow instrument is a highlight of Kruse GWS Auctions’ Artifacts of Hollywood & Music auction, which begins on March 27. It's being offered with a starting bid of $250,000. Angelina (16) nailed this one from the start. The antique shop just pulled you into the classic/vintage Elvis song and gave it a feel of Graceland. Shaking the dust off of vintage music, black leather jump suit, red guitar-believe it is actually Rob Christie’s-and Priscilla Presley’s Beehive hair style, all relates back to the 1968 comeback special. Her two cousins and her sister Juliette show how important family is and her growth. The symbolism throughout the song was awesome. Love how Angelina cradled the guitar with her hip! 🇳🇴🇺🇸💯
