This album not only showed that she's perfect in every genre (though previous albums like 'thank u, next' did that as well), but it also showed how good she is at layering vocals: There's a video of her in the recoding booth for positions (the song) adding layers upon layers. In the video she's constantly like "Let me try something" or "I have an idea. She's versatile, and really knows what she's doing

the most magical thing about this album in my opinion is the tracklist. every track is so meticulously placed to show you the stages/POSITIONS when you fall in love with someone. questioning their motives and intentions, being scared, realising you’re falling in love, showing them your flaws, questioning if they’ll ever leave you and then just becoming content with the fact that maybe they’re here to stay.

One thing makes her lyrics even better is the way she references her other songs from previous albums. Like when the weeknd referenced (the hills). He also made reference to his other song with ariana (love me harder) when he said « i can love u harder than i did before ». In (safety net) she says « is it real this time or is it in my head? ». So she’s referencing her song (in my head) from the previous album which talks about falling in love with a version of a person that she’s created in her head. Both songs make such a great storyline imo. This is smart writing for me. Love ur reactions and waiting for next ariana reaction. Hope it’s going to be (thank u, next). I think it’s ur type of music and it also follows the reverse chronological order u had with ariana’s reaction videos so far.

I think any of Ariana’s albums are hits depending on the mood you are in! Sweetener is her most experimental with sound, but it’s done so well🤍 I know another comment said this, but each album had so much happening before each release. It helps understand where Ari was coming from when writing. If you really want to hear Ari go off listen to “k, bye for now” it’s live from her Sweetener concerts & shows her being better than all of her studio tracks. She makes them better live & out does herself each time✨ I’ve noticed you really like the venerability in Ari’s music. So if you ever are interested: Sabrina Carpenters album “Emails I can’t send” might be up your alley💖 if you ever did listen I would just add “Emails I can’t send fwd” because it has 4 additional songs that’s really complete the story! Love the honesty & work you put in to every video🫶

when you react to sweetener and Thank u next, i suggest you listen to Sweetener first, as the album is more of an optimistic one and how she wanted/strived to feel during the that time(right after the manchester attack on of of her concerts), and right after the album came out, Mac Miller sadly passed away her ex fiance & bf of 2 years, and thats when she was at her lowest in her personal life, she stated recording tun saved her life kind of, “ghostin” has to be one of the saddest songs ever imo, talks about her being w pete and mourning Mac
