ATEEZ GUERRILLA is such a game changer in the k-pop scene! It has everything: hip-hop, rock, metal, psychedelic synths, high notes, angelic vocals, grunge, and screamo! All these different genres but it still sounds so cohesive and very much on brand!

Ateez as a whole group has to be one of if not the top group in terms of performance and stage presence in kpop right now. I’m not a Stan but they are all pretty much main dancers and have jongho who is one of the most powerful vocalists I’ve heard in kpop.

Thanks for the reaction. I really like this song (you should give the whole album a listen). My favorite ATEEZ is when they fully embrace the rock vocal sound. This song genre wise is a real mix-but one that works and works well for Ateez. They have a new sound but it still sounds like Ateez. There are two dance practice videos (I prefer the still camera one) and you realize just how insane the choreography is. This MV is very story heavy. The two trailers give it some context. But for short-this video is set in the world of Halateez (guys in the black fedoras who are alter egos to the pirate Ateez in a different dimension). Halateez live in a dystopian world where human emotions are prohibited as well as the arts because they evoke human emotions (their storyline is strongly influenced by books like 1984 and Brave New World as well as movies like Equilibrium). Halateez has started a rebellion in their world. According to the Fever diaries they traveled inter dimensionally to ask Ateez for help. The kid at the end escaped from the brainwashing school. The old guy is Left Eye another character in their storyline. Their Kingdom Rhythm Ta stage also is part of the story of the rebellion (yes last summer they already had this comeback planned). On the Album is a song called Sector 1. It is the song teaser from the end of the Answer MV. I fully expect the music from the last clip to show up in a song later-could be the current series or the next one.

I honestly think you should do an album listening party/full album reaction for Ateez. Either this one "THE WORLD EP.1 : MOVEMENT" because it has the most interesting sound i think (lots of effects even with the vocals) or their debut album "Treasure EP.1: All To Zero" because Long Journey may be one of the best intros I've ever heard it's one of the best debut album of the industry. anyway thanks for the reaction !

I call Ateez "Interpretive Music Kings" .. it's just musical ART. Expressing multiple emotions through one song. Not everyone will like it or comprehend it and that's the beauty of it. It is up to the individual to process it. NCT is also similar in this aspect. For someone like myself who appreciates different genres of music, this is like an All you can eat buffet of sound and I'm about to pig out..Thank you for your reaction. The 🤯😳 look on your faces makes my day.
