Hongjoong is a GENIUS cuz WHO thinks of mixing Antonín Dvořák: Symphony No. 9 "From the New World" with WONDERLAND. They go together so well that it's as if they were meant to be part of the same merged score. Also, being able to sing live while dancing that hard... Aliens

@@stella-bz2cc with ateez is never a coincidence lol They have everything planned since debut (2018). There's also a new track in the album called Sector 1 which intro is the instrumental piece ar the end of Answer MV released at the beginning of 2020. CRAZY.

The craziest thing about this performance was that they did it on like 0 hours of sleep in a 40 hour period, because they were also in the midst of their "Fireworks" comeback and they basically went from practicing for the "Fireworks" stages, to performing the "Fireworks" stages, to practicing for the "Wonderland" stage on Kingdom, to performing on Kingdom... More power to them. Imagine how good the stage would have been if they had gotten some sleep... And they were still voted the #1 performance out of the 6 groups for this...

So the thing about the producers & the song choices: Hongjoong was thinking about classical pieces that would work well with Wonderland and he knew the tune, but couldn't remember which piece it was. When he met with Eden and Leez (two producers in Eden-ary, who have worked with Ateez since debut - and Leez is one of Dreamcatcher's producers who has worked with *them* since debut) and he hummed it, Leez instantly named the composer and they all took it from there. It was Eden's idea to have Jongho hit those 4 notes (everyone was like, oh a 3 octave cool, but everyone got blown away by him hitting that 4th one) *AND* both Eunkwang and Changsub from BTOB (the senior group on the show and well known for having *incredible* vocals and that's not just fan bias - these guys are *always* mentioned when it comes to excellent vocalists.) both were impressed. their faces were literally A WORTHY COMPETITOR HAS APPEARED!!! If you're still wanting some Kingdom Ateez - watch their re-make of iKon's Rhythm Ta (I call it a remake instead of a cover because they had to crack that song open and just completely rework it). And if you're feeling like something fun ... try BTOB's re-make of Stray Kids' song called Back Door. You'll see what I mean by incredible vocals because one of the guys was sick as a dog and still hit his parts perfectly. (It wasn't covid, he'd just been overworking himself and came down with a cold.)

There is no doubt in kpop history ateez is the best overall performers..so live and engaging....out of all the groups I wanna see ateez live...other than that the hype was there for bigbang..and exo live stages for vocals..
