Great reaction - 'Oh-ne-dah-ree Dye-sak'-sen' (Big Operation Beg Dad For It). Originally a Black BABYMETAL duet with Yui and Moa. It may sound familiar - when they first saw Limp Bizkit performing 'My Generation' Moa thought it sounded so familiar and that they were singing a tribute to this song ... then she realised it was the other way round. This even has a sample of Fred Durst (and yes you can hear Su's voice in the background). Spoiled brat ... yes, that sums it up ... Yui and Moa were using all the tricks they knew (flattery, shoulder massage, puppy dog eyes, angelic smile, devil's whisper, pouting etc) to get Dad to buy them ALL the shiny and delicious things. The "I will be your bride" is just part of the flattery ... have you never heard a young child say to a grandparent or favourite aunt something like "I love you, when I grow up I want to marry you"? I know I've heard it - and it is entirely innocent. In this instance Moa was a bit old to be the spoiled brat so she was teaching her young apprentices (Baby Foxes) all the tricks she and Yui had used when they were their age. Why is she doing this as a solo? Well as you know Yui left in 2018 so she couldn't do the Black BABYMETAL duets as duets any more, solo was the only option. She also performed 'GJ' as a solo at the Budokan shows (supported again by her 4 young apprentices the Baby Foxes). So Moa gets ALL the money she wants - nobody can deny her!💸🤑💸

It is not often that Moa is the tallest on stage. Speculation on my part, but I am pretty sure the Sister Bones on stage with Moa are some of the last of the Sakura Gakuin girls. I love how she gives each one a special moment with her. Moa has also done another Black Babymetal song as a solo piece, GJ! At Legend S, the first show Yui missed. And that was the point that Moa turned it up to 11.

I suggest listening to Song 4/4 no Uta, which they wrote! I also recommend Sis. Anger and Gj! for some amazing Black Babymetal! I'm really hoping it comes back with Momometal in the lineup! I know Moa has performed them alone and she did an absolutely fantastic job of them!

Anyway glad to see you're back with this unique version of Onedari Daisakusen, i thought you already knew about this Black Babymetal song originally performed along with YuiMetal, the chemistry is totally different when both are on the stage full of kawaii overload, but this version shows everyone that MoaMetal still got it. She's acting like an older sister for this baby-foxes, teaching them how to cheat daddy into getting what they want lol Three of this girls later this year become part of the new BM unit, hopefully you can enjoy those special version with watermarked logo next time. - Doki Doki Morning live at Makuhari Messe 2023 - Karate live at PIA Arena MM 2023. I’m sure, by now, others have mentioned that this was originally a Black Babymetal song performed by both Yuimetal and Moametal. While Moa always delivers a knockout performance, this song was at its best with Yui AND Moa because their chemistry as a duo was unstoppable. This song was one of 4 Black Babymetal songs- it means Moa and Yui as a duo, without Su. This show was in 2021, so without Yui obviously, but the song was written for both of them, not only Moa.

Ok, now you HAVE to react to the other Black Babymetal songs. Song 4, GJ! and Sis. Anger. Edit: yes, there s a song called Song 4. There's some context to it. In Japanese, there are 2 words for the number 4, "yon" and "shi". How you say it depends on where you grew up. Now, "shi" in Japanese also means death, so many people started associating the number with death, to the point where some building don't even have the 4th floor. So in the song, they are saying that there are many words in Japanese that use the word "shi" on them, like the word for happiness "shiawase", and that the number shouldn't be feared for that.

Very cool!!! This is a song by Black Babymetal(Yui and Moa). It was out of the repertoire with Yui's departure, but they couldn't not put the song in this series of 10 Budokan concerts. You can at some point check out the others. In addition to "Onedari Daisakusen", "4 no Uta", "GJ!" and "Sis. Anger". Moa also sang solo a cover song, "Love Machine" - in that same concert Yui sang solo the cover "Chokotto Love" (they were then 14 years old).🤘🦊🤘

This was actually written for both Moametal and Yuimetal back when they released their first album, so normally back when there were Su, Moa and Yui it would have been Moa and Yui that performed this together, the reverb is taken from the track of Yuis voice so she’s still technically apart of BABYMETAL

I see you need a ton of context and clarification on this one, so here: - This is a Black BABYMETAL (BBM from now on) song, so originally it was performed by Yui and Moa. - Moa performed BBM songs on her own in late 2017 and 2018 since Yui stopped performing in October 2017. - They performed "Onedari Daisakusen" and "GJ!" again (both BBM songs) during the 10 BABYMETAL Budokan shows in 2021. - Yes, the song is about their tactics to get cute and shinny things from their dads (behind mom's back) by using extreme flattery. - The lyrics make more sense when they were 13 (as they were when they premiered it live in 2012). - And yes the famous line... "Atashi papa no oyome-san ni narunda." ("I will become your bride, Dad.") is apparently an expression that little girls (3-6yo) say to their dads. No other interpretation possible and the only shock is for us due to the cultural differences and possibly getting lost in translation. It's just a cute and innocent expression of flattery. But when Yui left Moa had to do the routine as a solo flanked by the avengers (skeleton girls). When watching older performances with Yui, this performance actually makes me sad. Moa is alone. O-na-da-ri Dye-sku-sen Japanese language is comprised of symbols that either represent a vowel sound or a consonent followed by a vowel sound. Plus, the Japanese tend to blend the syllables into each other quite a bit. From my understanding, the song comes from a whole storyline they had going about how Yui and Moa had been corrupted by an evil demon, and yes, were using every trick at their disposal -- begging, flattery, etc., to get things for themselves. Later songs are when Su saves them. Honestly, this may be my favorite of babymetal, but you should also check out some of the version where Yui was in as well, the interaction between them is quite good, and when you think about it, the song is scary dark.. especially if you have a daughter.
