I remember when baby metal was at sakura con years ago and we also got to meet and get autograph from them they might still do convention but idk I haven't gone in quite some time this was like around 2016 to 2017 when they played but i hope to go back one these years I really miss the anime. conventions they r super fun but can be very crowded depending which you go to iv only gone to sakura con which is in Seattle Washington and kumoricon which is in Oregon

Band Maid. I grew up with Mad Max. Then decades passed - before "Fury Road" popped up and blew my brain away. This is what Band Maid is doing after growing up in the 70s and 80s. I want to add that just like Fury Road, this "tune" is one of the finest compositions in their respective genres ever to be made. It is hard, yet symphonic. It is harmonic yet contrapunctual. It is melodic yet dissonant. It is SOOO prog while honouring history by being straightforward. God this is good.

Thanks again from Japan 有難う💛。 Other reactor mentioned a story of this song that has no lyrics. I had an image of this band heading for "From Now On". I witnessed this song performed flawlessly in Tokyo as 12th song in the setlist and Band-Maid played it in 12 out of 13 US concerts as 8th to 11th song. Most of the audience at those venues had, of course, already known their skills and talents. When I heard that they played this instrumental piece as opening at Aftershock (huge festival in California) on Oct. 9 and at Saitama Super Arena on Nov.6 (as support to Guns N' Roses), I felt very proud of them. Yeah! they showed off their skills and talents to the audience who did not know who the girls in maid outfit on the stage were. I felt as if I heard them screaming "Hey guys! Listen to us and open your eyes wide! We are not the persons that you think ! Salute us!" 😄

hard to believe that the MAIDS will be celebrating their 10th anniversary as a band in a few months. born in 2013 with their first album ' MAID IN JAPAN' that pretty much went nowhere at the time. then in 2014 they came out with their first mv 'thrill' that put them on the musical map. now that first cd is a treasured item by many MAID fans like me as it is chuck full of great tunes. none written by them but still really good nonetheless. first japanese girl band i ever heard in 2016 - landmark summer that year with that find. now if you want to get back to some LOVEBITES - it's been a while - everybody's favorite metal band is waiting to kick your ass with 'break the wall'. the usual incomparable guitar solos and a thrash masterpiece : kzbin.info/www/bejne/a4HGYYuBZdGBo7c

I saw Band-Maid live in Boston in October. they played From Now On. I lined up 10 hours ahead of time to get the front row. I was right in front of Misa! With Band-Maid, the one thing that is epic about them is they are better live! You really need to take the opportunity to see them live. You wil never forget it.

Also you mentioned in your previous reaction about the rhythm guitar vocals....Miku is the founder and original lead singer and stepped back when they brought in Saki....she is an amazing singer as well, just a bit more of a bright pop sound. Writing music for anime is a very recent thing for Band Maid. only 3 songs thus far, I believe.That's why they aren't as popular in japan - most popular music in japan is discovered via anime, like Radwimps, Kaoko, Polkadot Stingray, L'arc en Ciel, X Japan, etc

@@MrLawave11 I really like it, but it's also my least favorite of those four. I forgot about a few instrumentals that aren't on any records. There's "Go Nuts", which was a demo they played on a radio show a couple of years ago. There is an unofficial recording of it, but can be hard to find. There's "Hard Wash" (short, about 53 seconds long) which has a video of Miku showing how to wash your hands properly that they did because of Covid. Video is taken down, but fans keep posting the audio. There's "want more" that was available as a free MP3 download for about a week in 2020. You can find audio on youtube. There's "Entree" which is on a bonus CD that came with the limited edition Blu-Ray of their "Online Okyu-ji" show from last year. Not on youtube as far as I know. Finally, there's "Dawn Winery Theme" from the concert of various bands performing music from the Geshin Impact game. You can find a video of it on youtube.
