Billie's voice gets right into ones bones and makes one feel all the emotions. I probably cry when I listen to at least half of her songs. She and Finneas have such a beautiful way with words. Even though they are young in years, they are old souls. 💞

This song is a soft acoustic ballad that explores the struggles and feelings from a complicated relationship. But each listener will get a different meaning that means something to them. like for me, this song is about loving someone and them not returning that love. Or not feeling the same way. Something I’ve had personal experience with. And it hurts. And to others, it may be that you are good friends with someone, and may be developing feelings for them, but don’t want to screw that up by telling them that you love them because that may change the entire dynamic of the relationship/friendship. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve cried listening to this song. And I’m an older male. It’s extremely relatable. This is why Billie has connected with so many different types of people. By singing extremely vulnerable and relatable songs.
