*Black Holes* is a song about someone unable to get out of active addiction. Pau (Pow) description is on point, even though she has not personally experienced it herself. This song solidify my admiration of The Warning because I know first hand how soul crushing addiction is. This song along with another that Pau has written and sings at the keyboard called *Show Me the Light* (a love song) is the antithesis of Black Holes. *Black Holes* for me is the anthem for anyone still struggling with addiction is go through. *Show Me the Light* is the process of recovery and sharing that pain with some trustworthy.

The passion of Pau! What 13 year old can write such a powerful, insightful song about addiction?
@saturnracer1564 жыл бұрын
I've seen this song reduce a room of grown men to a puddle of tears. Anyone that has gone through or witnessed the struggle of addiction has to truly feel this song. The first time I showed it to my wife, I looked over at her at the end and she was boohoo crying and said "What that poor girl must have gone through. I feel sorry for her." I had to go find an interview where she talked about living a very happy life and said she has never experienced any of the things she writes about. She is a genius. I can't wait to see what she comes up with after she has more real life experience.

Honestly,how on earth does a 13 year old write a song about addictions ? Pau is a genius,and the principle songwriter in the band,but its scary how much better she is gonna get. This ballad of sorts is just what shes capable of,but believe me,you guys wanna react to her cover of Radioheads "Creep" - it is stunning,and watch the clip right through,theres a little surprise at the end.

Almost all the songs the Warning perform is a collaboration of sweat and tears between all three of them. Very rarely is any song written solely by one of them --: this song and Crimson Queen being two of the exceptions.

How do a 17, 15, and 13 year old (at the time of this performance) capture the emotion and pain of something as serious as addiction. Beautifully written and played with deep emotion. I swear I wrote this yesterday and apparently didn't push "comment." Getting old is very inconvenient.

Such a beautiful song, that has reduced many strong men to tears. Besides Paulina doing a mesmerizing performance, Dany's guitar work and Dany and Ale's background harmonies throw this song over the top. There is nothing these sisters can't do. The girls, including Pau, have made mention in interviews that a lot of their ideas for lyrics come from books they read. You can tell the type of books each one of them is in to by the lyrics they individually produce for their hit songs. It’s a very endearing quality of this band in my mind. I’m really enjoying your reactions to their music. Thanks!

Yes, BUT they also say; "And everything we observe around us!" It seems that this part is NOT being given the Importance it Deserves.
@romanlopez52954 жыл бұрын
Wolf On Fire yes, the subjective nature of experience, either observed or personal, is often the muse of an artist. They couple that with what they read, and perceive , and make awesome music. That’s why their approach stands out to me. You can usually feel when someone “fakes it” and when someone has lived it! Pau makes you think she is in recovery and struggling at 16! Danny has made it seem like she has been through the “wringer” in love! 😂 they are great artists!
